Congratulations! Shohei Ohtani! From 17:17 today, Tokyo Tower will shine in Angels color and a congratulatory message will be displayed on the south side of the main deck!

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels has won the American League MVP! Congratulations!

In honor of Ohtani's achievements, Tokyo Tower will light up the Tokyo Tower in Angels color at 17:17 on Friday, November 19th, and will display Ohtani's uniform number "17". In addition, a congratulatory message will be lit on the south side of the main deck.

Tokyo Tower looks just like the Angels logo!
Let's celebrate Ohtani's achievements with the Tokyo Tower shining in Angels colors (red, white, blue) on the night of the lunar eclipse!

Date and time: November 19, 2021 (Friday) 17: 17-24: 00 (Japan Time, 1 day only)
Lighting color: Lights in red, white, and blue, which is the image of the Los Angeles Angels color, and displays a congratulatory message on the south side of the main deck (492 feet above the ground).

This is seriously cool. Stoked that Shohei won unanimously and is being recognized.

  2. So, my friends and I were talking about left handed position players, specifically third basemen, shortstops, second basemen, and catchers.

The last left handed throwing catcher to play in the Major Leagues was Benny DiStefano. He caught three games for the Pirates in ‘89. Third and second basemen and shortstops go back even further.

My question for everyone is, “What would baseball be like if it was played backwards?”

Imagine, third base is first base and a shot hit to the first baseman gets thrown to the third baseman. Runners run to third first instead of first (clockwise).

Would Major League Baseball benefit from a developmental league that is played backwards for left handers? And, are right handed position players favored in the game of baseball?

Also, the Angels need two starting pitchers.
