  1. I just saw that and . That’s truly insane to have a core like that locked up for nearly 5+ years on average.
  2. There goes another pitcher. I’m kinda glad. Didn’t want to lose another draft pick.
  3. Junior Felix Lee Stevens Ron Tingley
  4. I agree. The bullpen has the possibility to make or break this team. Seems like Perry is still trying to add and if he can add 1-2 dependable names, it should be in good shape.
  5. Add Eovaldi and Hendriks, then we can start talking about an 88-90 win team and playoff contender.
  6. I’d keep it. Will probably be a long discussion.
  7. I can see someone like the Rangers picking up Bauer if available.
  8. 8° here tomorrow. Negative degrees with Chuck. Not typical for Tennessee. But will be nice for Christmas.
  9. This is more speculation on my part, but I wonder if Perry is also focusing on personality and professionalism as well. Perhaps, changing the overall clubhouse feel from past couple of years.
  10. This gives Nevin the availability to get the hot hand or good matchups throughout the season. My initial thought was I thought Perry would look more at SS type, ie Segura. But Drury is no bum either. This team will hit in 2023 with the moves thus far.
  11. I’m fine with this. Ready for a solid voice behind the Angels. Though I’ll always prefer Victor. Matty V and O’Neal can move on IMO.
  12. I think they’ll find a way. He can split DH and 1B duties.
  13. Hosmer will end up back in KC. Just has that feel.
  14. I like the moves Perry has made thus far, but nothing pushes the Angels in the playoff picture so far. I do see better seasons from Sandoval and Detmers. If either or both of them pitch like a #2 or 1b, Angels could move into wild card picture. That’s a huge IF.
  15. We miss playoffs and are middle of the pack with 80 wins. Ohtani is traded also. Life after Ohtani begins.
  16. At this point, I don’t see many great options for SS on the trade market. The best and safest option seems to be Correa or Swanson. Get one of them and the position is stable for several years. I’d prefer the Angels don’t go into the season with a question mark in this position, ie., someone young and unproven or someone injury prone or someone who is defensive only.
  17. Ahh I missed that opt out. You nailed the scenario if Angels traded for him.
  18. I mean since Bassit was very vocal about the Astros cheating.
  19. What about a trade for Javier Baez? He has a 10 team no trade clause, so not sure if Angels are on that. But I don’t think Detroit is a great fit, he underperformed. I think he could be had for very little if Angels take on most of his contract.
  20. What if Bassit and Correa ended up on the same team? That would be interesting to say the least.
