What? There’s been numerous times throughout the season where a player had a good game and Ausmus benched them right after. The only difference in lineups is Ausmus’s willingness to move people up and down occasionally.

I gave him an F because he’s a Fakking bad manager. He was bad in Detroit, and while he didn’t have much to work with here as far as starters, nothing has changed. I’d like to see him fired at the end of the year.

Nobody takes oxy because they thought it would be a fun trip. I got my gallbladder taken out recently and was prescribed oxy. It worked really good to take the pain away and help me pass out for half a day. I imagine that oxy is one of the painkillers that get prescribed after injuries, and if you continue to take it after your prescription is expired either you’re still inured/feeling pain, or you’re addicted. I don’t understand the animosity. He didn’t go snort a few lines while driving his yacht into a pile of rocks. There is a difference. I’m also not saying that Jose Fernandez was a piece of shit either, but there is a difference between the two.

I have no idea if the Angels are doing anything wrong, I just find it extremely interesting that a current player feels they’re being mismanaged. Plus, it’s more refreshing than the Pujols and Upton threads ?

Then is it just a player being frustrated or is the player’s perception that they’re being mishandled? Is he the only one that feels that way?

Well to answer one of your questions, they got the bulk of their usage under Sosh, but it’s difficult to see any trend. Perceval had a major arm injury that ended his career shortly after signing with Detroit, but other than that it’s difficult to find any major arm injuries until the DiPoto realm

Yeah I think people are more focused on who DirtStar02 is instead of a pitcher’s feeling on the subject. THAT is more telling to me, and I’m more inclined to believe the player over management.

This isn’t good. He had that risk coming out of college because of his high usage. That’s why they held him out for the rest of that year. Now what? Instead of 2 pitchers, we need 3? It’s sad.

Great performance but also super frustrating. You know what kind of talent the guy has, but wish it would translate.

Not liking a player and “laughing if they died” are two very different things. I’m ok with not liking him. He screwed over the Angels with his poor decision, but that’s exactly what addicts do. I can’t tell you how many times my own brother has done something to screw with the family when he relapses. Then he goes to prison/rehab and is good for a little while again. Deep down he’s a good person and we see that when he’s healthy and off drugs. I don’t like Josh Hamilton, but I’m not going to sit here and wish any ill will on the man

At this point I’d rather see Cahill pitching than Suarez.
