  1. Lorenzen seems to have caught the virus (suckballitis) that has clearly circulated around the Angels the past couple of months. Ohtani for the most part seems to have some natural immunity to this horrible virus. Lorenzen missing a few starts will be alright.
  2. Heading to Baltimore afterwards. Rain expected there... there's hope, a rain-out!
  3. Is there a team/pitcher in mlb we would be favored against right now?
  4. The organization as a whole seems to be in a funky-funk (never used that term before) the past few years. Has it been brought up that since Arte's name-change, things haven't gone well? I'll be the first to admit that I'm reaching, but perhaps it should at least be discussed going back to being the "California Angels" and stay that way. Aside from landing Ohtani, not at lot of good has happened to our team.
  5. Seriously, the guy should have his eyesight checked
  6. It's come to this... at least someone put the ball in play. At least we're at the half way point of this season.
  7. Opposing pitchers must be salivating to face these angels.
  8. Way to go! Giving up that 1st stolen base of a mlb career. 700+ games
  9. Results. Everyone in the front office of the Angels organization should be held accountable for the performance of this team. A major league team that struggles so much to put the ball in play??
  10. Baseball is relatively a simple GAME! Does the front office not see the players with “Angels” on their jerseys not doing the fundamentals?? The first base coach on the play that ward got tagged out by maldonado? One team was there, the other team was seemingly just going through the motions.
  11. The 20 strikeouts brought the team’s biggest flaw upon several national news outlets. As a team, the Angels now easily lead the majors. How do you do nothing as an organization? The firing of Reed likely won’t solve the strikeouts but if you axe the head coach for a losing streak, certainly the hitting coach has to go after the team’s anemic performance. Again… just put the ball in play. We’re talking about a major league team here.
  12. Reed has nothing to do with the Angels inability to put a ball in play? Is it on the bench coach… the bat boy? The team only seem to be regressing.
  13. It’s something. Finding a new hitting coach would be another sign of a team showing a pulse before completing flat-lining.
  14. Should go up there looking like mr-effing-magoo… maybe that’ll help
  15. Football can’t get here soon enough. Speaking of football, I’ve often wondered how the best college team would do against the worst NFL team. Well today, we kind of got an idea because that looked like A MAJOR LEAGUE TEAM AGAINST A TRIPLE A TEAM! that’s quite the team you’ve assembled there perry. Oh, and get trout to an optometrist appointment asap.
  16. Maybe Trout’s eyesight is declining. Perhaps he should have his vision checked?
  17. New day, new pile of fresh manure, but hey, let’s keep going. One game at a time.
  18. YES!!!! Just put the stinking ball in play. These are major league players. Is it too much to ask for? For the love of God perry, address this.
  19. Remember what a manufactured run is? How often does this team get a runner on base via a walk or a hit by pitch and then get him home via a sacrifice bunt/steal and a lousy single? Nope, not this team. A strikeout or two will kill any spark of momentum. Nope go on up there Wade, Velasquez, Marsh swing for the fences. This team has several issues but they have to address the strikeouts!
  20. Here’s something to show how bad things are; Taijuan Walker goes 6 innings against our halos on the 12th of June and strikes out 10! In six innings. 10 angels in six innings!!! He pitches against these astros earlier this week and strikes out 3 in 7 and 1/3 innings. Does the front office, perry, aware of this shit?
  21. I couldn’t watch anymore past Ohtani’s second ab. Did the Astros take the foot off the gas once it was 8 to 1? They play so relaxed/confident compared to our guys.
  22. The two teams tonight… one is well run the got extremely lucky on two separate occasions in the past 13 or so years. Time to clean house and I’m not referring to the guys on the field. Unacceptable difference between the two organizations.
