I don't think I could have come up with a realistic scenario for a more terrible week than Cal basketball had. You can't have a coach fired and two starters go down in the two days before your game and do well. It's awful.

We blew that game. Up 8 with a minute and a half to go. Also, the refs were all Arizona, all night. At the end of the first half at the last second, there was a clear as day goaltend committed by Arizona. The refs didn't make a peep. It was obvious. 11 AZ fouls to 21 called on Cal. Still, you expect that garbage from Pac12 refs. You can't collapse like we did in the last two minutes.

Tonight will be a very good test. The team seems to really be coming together at the right time. Jaylen Brown is everything he was billed to be and more, and the guy is a great fit for the school, but he'd be nutso not to go to the draft. There's a ridiculous amount of talent on this year's team. We also have pretty solid depth and some size for the first time in a long time. I'd be so excited to see them make a run.
