There's a kid named Jayson Jones and MLB has him ranked as the 152 top rated prospect.  Id like to see the Angels snag him at some point.  Kids eats and breaths baseball.  Watched him grow up from the time he was 11 or so, just always working.  Father played minor league ball with the Yankees and mom played college basketball.  The pedigree is there. Played SS in high school but I think he projects as a 3rd baseman or corner OF at the next level.  He has commitment to Arkansas but I think he would sign for a chance to play pro ball.  The mental makeup of this kid is off the charts.  Won the high school HR derby as well.

Would love to sign a 25 year old ace if decides to he wants to pitch in the MLB.

Throws a perfect game with 19 strikeouts.  Supposedly avg 99.6 on his fastball and has an amazing slider.  Its his second season in Nippon Professional Baseball, how long do we have to wait till he gets posted?

I went to the same high school as Shawn Green.  He was a senior when I was in 8th grade though.  He used to come and workout at the fields all the time.

I think it's time to come to terms with the fact that the Angels likely aren't selling, but the team isn't playing well enough for Perry to be desperate to buy either. 

They're pretty much going to do the stupidest thing possible, which is nothing. 

Rangers have gotten better by improving their farm as well.  Angels are the only team in the West to stand pat so far.
