  1. These come-from-behind wins against quality opponents, hopefully, will not only help this team to regain its confidence but may well convince Ohtani to stay...
  2. Sierra did his job...that magnificent bastard did it...
  3. It's only 2 runs but...to this team, it might as well be 100...
  4. Speaking of second string...Chavez enters the game...
  5. I didn't see that but, yes...for anyone else who hasn't taken a ball to the foot recently, why not? Especially for players like Sierra who offer little else most nights...
  6. Exactly as this team should be doing all that it can to manufacture runs. I mean...why not have some of the faster players bunt, if that's what it takes & see if they can beat the throw. Something to give the team a spark, if possible, or to create a mentality that no losses will come without having left it all out on the field...
  7. Apparently the team is better off with Mayers on the team...
  8. Pretty complimentary article regarding Duggar & his center field defense from just 4 year ago. Also, in mentioning his offensive numbers...yeah...not so much but, at least, he's been consistent lol... https://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2018/10/29/18013074/mlb-sf-giants-steven-duggar-center-field
  9. Didn't know if you knew this or not... Roberto Baldoquin: Released by Angels Rotowire APR 2, 2020 Baldoquin was recently cut loose by the Angels, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. The Angels signed Baldoquin out of Cuba late in 2014, but the shortstop never made much of an impact at any of his minor-league stops. He slashed .241/.295/.317 with nine home runs and 21 stolen bases in 355 career minor-league contests and never ascended beyond the Double-A level.
  10. It's debatable when you consider they also signed Lagares earlier in the year...
  11. X-rays reveal fractured middle finger for Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak has a fracture to the tip of his left middle finger that will sideline him, but he hasn't been ruled out for the rest of the season. The Angels claimed Steven Duggar off waivers from the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, giving them another outfielder for Sunday's series finale against the Mariners. Outfielder Dillon Thomas was designated for assignment. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/34365592/x-rays-reveal-fractured-middle-finger-los-angeles-angels-mickey-moniak
  12. They should have been doing more of it this season along with being more aggressive, IMO, in stealing bases. As, I believe that they underutilized Wade as a pinch-runner where his speed could have helped them to manufacture more runs. But, maybe, bunting is not something many teams do/teach anymore which might explain why Moniak's attempt, somehow, involved his fingers...
  13. Pitch got his finger on his bunt...it just sounds weird, doesn't it?
