I feel like we need to start Ohtani earlier in the rotation to 'see' what's up, why wait so long in the rotation? We need answers and early. He has some of the best stuff in the league.  Yet he's a 6 or 7 in your rotations.

In all seriousness I think we have a ery good foundation.  I would look to  sign a frontline starter, a reliever, and look tpontrade Barria and a couple of our better prospects  a good pitcher.

We dont need money to buy out Pujols.   His money is spent regardless.  We need money for his replacement.   Walsh is minimum wage.

Save money to burn Pujols contract, sign nobody but bullpen relief, give Ohtani a shot at 3 or 4 spot in the rotation.  If he fails like Teheran in his first 5 or 6 starts or gets a season ending injury, look at acquiring a starting pitcher via trade.  The core team is very good and is more than capable of competing next season.

His once every Sunday schedule did nothing to prevent injury, it did put the Angels in the uncomfortable position of the Salt Lake shuffle to accommodate him. Like I said, the players don't need to change the front office needs to change.  And if they do that, new uniforms to signify a new direction. Get used to it, I'm going to keep saying it until it happens.

Someone needs to risk their career, go up to Arte and tell him baseball isn't billboards and he's playing with dynamite.

Yeah if Arte is planning on hiring a GM to fix the current situation (without expanding the luxury tax threshold) he's just shooting himself in the foot to look alive, the current squad is ready to go.  I'll keep saying it.  Any changes to the rotation or lineup is backtracking.

We don't even need a GM this off-season, that's how much better I feel we are than the previous seasons.  In fact, the more we try to 'fix' the worse the team and team chemistry will be.  So tread carefully on what we really need, it aint the lineup, it really isn't the rotation either, defense + bullpen just needs to pan out better.  Teams would kill for our lineup and rotation imo, especially if Ohtani pans out on the mound.  There's only one way to find out!

That's why I find Arte made a terrible move firing Eppler, he now HAS to sign a GM who will then make impact moves just to make noise.... this is going to be a disaster.  Shooting ourselves in the foot just to look alive.

Losing Teheran makes us a lot better.  How many good pitchers from this year are we going to rid of for more outsiders who will fail us? Like Teheran?

Let's not make too much noise, the team is actually already very competitive.  You saw it, I saw it, a bad start magnified issues that aren't that big anymore.  They killed it last month, and it wasn't a fluke.  The more we change this team, the worse it's going to get, there's chemistry I haven't seen since long ago.

Teheran is gone, he really skewed the stats.  It's not the main issue, the bullpen and defense was, Adell likely won't be in the MLB next season so that helps.
