  1. That a good sign. Stay on target maintain focus and discipline.
  2. That’s a goof start. I’m hoping he can have more consistent contact this year while maintaining the power. Also want to see him continue to show improvement in the field.
  3. I and a few others here have had it the last few years. see link below; https://tbonesbaseball.com/will-t-mobile-tuesday-do-mlb-again/
  4. Yep, definitely worth it. Been enjoying the addfree environment.
  5. Good pick up, really glad they added another arm to the bullpen. It’s been a really good offseason. Not a perfect offseason but a really good one. Hyped about the upcoming season.
  6. Sounds like LOAD MANAGEMENT is coming to the Halos. Not a bad thing if it helps our guys make it through the season and off the DL.
  7. Agree with you on this, can’t believe this isn’t a bigger story either other than on this board. This could have huge implications. (I'm still struggling to grasp why no one is writing about this (even including the financial press) in the articles about the bankruptcy or why Manfred/MLB execs haven't referenced it as a possibility, either, when they've given comments on the situation).
  8. That discussion is more fun, my personal favorites Mount Rushore would be; Grich, Downing, Percival, Trout. Just missing the list; Finley, Joyner, Salmon, Erstad, Edmonds, Anderson, Carew, Pettis Non players; Autry, Scioscia, Mauch, Dick Endberg, Drysdale, Rory Markas, Al Connin and Ron Fairly
  9. Maybe not one of the top four (MT Rushmore) type but definitely one my favorites Halos of all time. Played all out all the time!
  10. If we can’t go Nolan because he went into the hall as a Ranger and if it has to be only players (not Autry or Scioscia). It’s hard to only choose 4 but I’ll go with, Trout, Salmon, Vlad and Grich Really hard, I feel like we’re leaving some really deserving Halos off this list.
  11. Could give a crap what the so called experts say or think, screw them. I’m happy with the off-season additions it’s more than they’ve done last couple of years. Not to mention some of the up and coming talent in the minors. Sure would have loved a Shortstop and another backend arm for the bullpen but nonetheless they’ve improved. At the end of the day I’m more excited and encouraged for the upcoming season than I’ve been in awhile. Hey and it looks and sounds like we have pretty good Play by play announcer too, that should definitely help make the season better too!
  12. I would love to be able to watch the Halos on MLB.TV live without the stupid local blackout restrictions. Yes, I would willingly pay extra for that as opposed to having cable and all the crappy channels I don't watch.
  13. Hey guys, here is a story that kinda ties into the conversation. MLB hired Billy Chambers, one of the country’s most experienced RSN executives, to figure out what to do with its regional media rights, as the market for RSNs continues to crumble. The former Fox Sports Net exec takes the newly created position of EVP/Local Media. Chambers starts Feb. 1 and will report to MLB Chief Revenue Officer Noah Garden. Chambers was CFO overseeing the 21 Fox Sports-branded RSNs. He stayed with Sinclair after the big RSN sale, taking on the additional title of COO. Chambers’s task at MLB is straightforward: the league will look to him to put it in the position to take more control over its local rights. Here is the link to the article (By Joe Lucia on 01/12/2023) https://awfulannouncing.com/mlb/mlb-hires-experienced-rsn-executive-billy-chambers-as-evp-of-local-media.html
  14. HAHA, true. Let me amend that. better the Angel you know than the Angel you don’t know…..
  15. I can't listen to LA sports talk, hasn't been good since the days of Jim Healy and the old McDonnel Douglas show on KMPC (Joe McDonnel & Doug Krikorian).
