    So, we lose Urshela, Rendon, and Neto and we STILL can't call him up? Connecting the dots, it has become obvious. Fletch slept with Arte's wife (as a fellow senior citizen I think she's pretty hot and really can't blame him)!

    Trout has never done well when he's "pressing." I think he's been pressing the entire year because he doesn't want Shohei to walk.

    We can probably afford one, but the way Trout is hitting that gives us two.

    Fletcher, Rengifo, and Urshela don't complement each other on the roster. We just can't carry all three.

    Bat speed looks fine, he just has a giant hole in his swing... i.e. his uppercut swing is more uppercutty. He has no chance on fastballs up in the zone.

    I never thought of Neto as "pint-sized." Perhaps he wears his pants a bit high, but he's not pint-sized!

    One upside to O'hoppe being hurt is the development of Thaiss. Thaiss also has hundreds of games of first-base experience which gives us some needed depth there when O'hoppe returns.

    Incredible boon to the club. He's freeing up almost 30 million in payroll that they would have used on signing one of the premium shortstops last offseason.

    Exactly! We're strong, thus trade Ohtani, which makes us weak, then we immediately trade back for him!
