  1. The Bible is inerrant, but not everyone's interpretation of the Bible is inerrant. KC and I have vastly different interpretations of the same Scriptures. Who's right? Only God can say. I guess we'll find out in Heaven.
  2. Are the guys you work with legal citizens? What are their thoughts on immigration from Mexico? Small sample size, but every Mexican American I've talked to is pretty "progressive" when it comes to immigration from Mexico, even if they're conservative on a lot of other issues.
  3. Three out of four border states opposite it. Texas is the only state that supports it. "Poll: 7 in 10 Californians Oppose Trump’s Border Wall | Courthouse News Service" https://www.courthousenews.com/poll-7-in-10-californians-oppose-trumps-border-wall/amp/ "Majority of Arizonans oppose Trump's border wall, survey finds" https://amp.azcentral.com/amp/963580001 "Poll: Most in New Mexico oppose border wall despite security concerns" https://amp.lcsun-news.com/amp/1357767002 "POLL: Texans Support Trump, Border Wall And Path To Citizenship – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth" https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2018/02/28/poll-texans-support-trump-wall-daca/?amp
  4. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/taliban-order-female-city-workers-in-kabul-to-stay-home/ar-AAOBlrL?ocid=smtlch Looks like the Taliban have been reading KC's posts about a woman's place.
  5. This is spot on. I'm legitimately surprised that so many people fell for it.
  6. It's not true that most people support expanding the border wall.
  7. I think the wall was one of the dumbest ideas of all time, and it's surprising that intelligent people like you and Larry don't see what a MacGuffin it is/was. But what I enjoy about the wall is that it's one of the most visible failures of Trump's presidency. Something he promised his faithful but never came close to following through on. Just like his beautiful healthcare plan.
  8. Trump had four years. Promises made, promises broken.
  9. Reading through the first several pages of this thread, I miss the days when MAGA was the only MAGA around these parts.
  10. It's too bad Trump didn't build his wall like he said he would.
  11. Which country flew a jet plane into the WTC? And I would hate the other country's government, not their civilians.
  12. If they're truly giving away most of what they make, then bravo. I commend them. But I'm a tad suspicious with all the money the wealthiest people have tucked away in assets, real estate, etc. It's how Trump and others supposedly make zero income some years despite actually raking in copious amounts on their business dealings and assets. But this Giving Pledge is a really great thing if it pans out.
  13. I agree that it's mostly harmless, except many people seem to think it enhances their argument by calling the other person dumb, fat, poor, gay, jealous, etc.
  14. I try to stay away from personal attacks on this forum, but it seems like the go-to for many folks in the midst of discussions/arguments. I wonder if it's a generational thing.
  15. That's a lazy assessment of what I said.
  16. I actually agree with this. But we don't live in an ideal world where individuals and churches take care of all the people who need it, and that's why the government is necessary. Governments have done evil and corrupt things throughout history. So have rich people. So have poor people. So have churches and pastors. So being an institution that does evil things doesn't prevent you from being able to do good. That's how I feel about the police, too.
  17. You're probably right about this. What about the rest of what I said in my post (the one where I responded to both you and Tank)?
