I don't think it's a coincidence that Minasian continued Eppler's pattern of signing 1-year deals for pitchers. Arte can absolutely tell his GM, "I don't want you to spend more than x amount on a starting pitcher," and the GM has to work within that budget.
He does, and from what I've heard he works harder than most of us because his job is really taxing. The "el oh el u dont hav a job LMAO" insult is getting kind of old.
