  1. Sure. Call it whatever you want. The point is organizational instability. How many managers and GMs? I’ve lost count.
  2. I think that’s an indicator, especially with this org. But $ isn’t always the #1 factor. It’s the utilization of the $. And the Angels utilization and distribution is terrible. Look at the Rays and A’s. I’m guessing their development budgets aren’t as big as the Angels, but they have the right PEOPLE in place to create a system. The Angels clearly lack any sort of organizational philosophy, processes and systems. It’s a giant, disjointed, cluster fuck.
  3. Right, so Arte has plowed through Dipoto, Eppler, and who knows what happens with Minasian. The jury is still out on this being the best front office. Minasian is an unproven commodity at this point and just because they have brought in more people doesn’t mean it’s better.
  4. May be right. Since what, the Rendon signing? It just seems like a captainless ship. You need someone to come in that is the clear leader that will instill organizational stability. I don’t think Minasian is that guy. He may be a part, but he is not THE guy IMO. And I still think Arte is involved. Who is hiring and firing the GMs and managers?
  5. Arte and Carpino need to stay the fuck away from anything baseball related. Having a budget is fine, but just set it and get away. Then, and this is the most important need and hole for the Angels, they need to hire a Head of Baseball Operations. Someone that oversees the entire org from top to bottom and instills a plan and a process that EVERYONE follows. And if they don’t, get rid of them. That includes players, coaches, ball boys, GMs, anyone. If they are going to spend money on anything, spend money on this hire. Hire the best guy in the entire world and give him whatever he wants. Do I believe this will happen? No. Why? Because Arte is a dumbass when it comes to management of this organization and winning is not the #1 priority.
  6. Is it not clear that the Angels development programs rank towards the back half of the pack? I can not say for certain, but this is what I gather from the small bits we get from the media. It always seems like the Angels are one of the teams trying to skimp on any sort of development. I’m not saying that twin size beds lead to terrible development, but where else are they cutting in terms of trying to get the best out of their players? They clearly are terrible at it.
  7. For Shohei’s legacies sake, he should leave this dumpster fire, trash organization. He deserves so much better and a chance to win. That clearly is not going to happen here due to the morons that run this organization.
  8. Bahahahaha. This fucking team is so awful. Do these retards know how to catch a baseball?
  9. Why? Because he didn’t listen to our POS owner? And a manager that went against him? FYI, I’d take Scioscia back in a heartbeat.
  10. Great thread. Would read again.
  11. But you HAVE to sell the trash this year. Trade Syndergaard to the Mets. They will probably give ya a little extra love. Trade all of the replacement level guys.
  12. Very interesting. And re-sign Ohtani. Say you will spend whatever it takes.
  13. Duh. Trout*. Although, he probably won’t be winning anything from a team perspective at this rate.
  14. Lol. I probably would be happier if the Angels didn’t exist. The entire organization is made up of losers outside of Ohtani. From top to bottom.
  15. Do whatever they are doing and do the opposite.
  16. This is the only way to *potentially* fix this terrible organization. Hit Arte where it hurts and the only place he cares about, his pocketbook. The guy is a snake oil salesman. My concern is he won’t sell the team because all he cares about is his mega development deal and the Angels help him get that done. Albeit losing and an empty ballpark doesn’t do him any favors. The franchise is run by the same group of clowns that have been there since day one of the Moreno era, Arte and Carpino. Until these guys go, or until Arte changes (which I doubt he will because he is clearly a narcissistic piece of shit) who manages the organization and where we invest, we’re fucked.
  17. Trout would’ve struck out on it.
