  1. Why not? I don't trust the Angels FO management. It'd be nice to know if he was pursued by anyone else or if he makes more than the average joe.
  2. What do we really know about Perry? Was he highly sought after? How much are they paying him?
  3. Great post. I am very curious to see what he does at the deadline. I think we will be active.
  4. Agree. He has been awesome and is easy to listen to.
  5. 100%. Marsh is a better player and I don’t think it is even that close. Adell is young, but he has a ton of red flags and is a terrible defender. Marsh will hit enough, knows how to take a walk, and plays plus defense. That’s worth a lot more than a guy that has a lot of holes in his swing, doesn’t walk, and is a dumpster fire in the field. I pray that Adell goes on a tear in AAA the rest of the year and maybe gets a call up and hits enough for someone to bite for a controllable pitcher in the offseason.
  6. It’s incredible how this dumbass organization never addresses the most glaring weakness EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. The baseball operations group has got to be the dumbest collective group when it comes to identifying and acquiring talented pitching.
  7. I wouldn’t make any drastic decisions. Trade off some guys with little worth if you can get some fringe BP prospects back (similar to the Kinsler for Buttrey deal). Wait until the off-season and hope that Adell continues to rebuild some value and trade him for the best controllable pitcher you can get. Hope and pray that someone oversees his warts and let Marsh take over full time in RF. I think Marsh is the better prospect anyways.
  8. Floor is elite reliever from a good buddy that follows amateur stuff quite a bit.
  9. I disagree with the first part of your post, but agree with the second part. Kobe still had dominant moments in his final year. The team wasn’t going anywhere anyways and it is not as if Kobe hampered them from winning titles (because they weren’t going to win with some of those squads). And, as you mentioned, he won them five titles. He gets to go out on his terms. On the other hand, Pujols has been a boat anchor for the Angels since day one. He’s definitely one of the most selfish players of all time and will go down as one of, it not the, worst Angels signing of all time.
  10. He extended the Dodgers lead to 16-1 and 22-1. It will be fun when the Dodgers drop him.
  11. Lol. Woah, bro. Don’t get too obsessed. Maybe I will change my name to winos. Don’t hack me.
  12. These are the losses that kill us every year. But I agree, another game tomorrow. I think it’s okay to expect us to win games we should’ve won though.
