  1. Memoirs COS -- Truel Stories Unfiltered. This podcast is in Colorado Springs, CO. I will be on the show this month (August 29).
  2. The movie star who took home an Oscar for his portrayal of a Vietnam Vet returning home, has turned out to be quite an American Patriot. He recently went on the air stating that Joe Biden needs to be impeached. Do I agree with him? When Biden made his rash and unwise withdrawal of the troops in Afghanistan, he left billions of dollar's worth of U.S. Military Equipment and Top-Secret Information behind in Afghanistan which is now in the hands of the Taliban. That is Espionage, which is the absolute worse form of Treason. Also, he has been putting illegals down at the border on planes to various airports throughout the country at the expense of the Taxpayers. Patriotic Song Dedicated to Jon Voight, American Patriot:
  3. Forget about The Dodgers. They have a national following like The Yankees and The Red Sox. I found a lot of people in Colorado who are Dodgers Fans. Here, The Angels are insignificant. Since The Angels started this ridiculous quest to "Replace" The Dodgers as L.A.'s Team (And Southern California's Team) and latched onto their city, nothing has gone right for this franchise. Go back to being Angels Baseball like it was under The Cowboy's ownership. That is the team I grew up with. Get off The Dodgers already.
  4. That organization died when Disney sold the team, and then the organization tried to replace The Dodgers as L.A's Team and the Yankees-Red Sox of the West Coast. That will never happen! The Halo Organization needs to get off this one-sided rivalry with The Dodgers and their city and go back to being the team I grew up with, from Anaheim, California. But, I doubt that it will as long as Moreno is the owner
  5. I seem to remember that during the first decade of Y2K when The Halos were freak power surging at exactly the same time every Mid-May and making it into the Post Season (Where they crashed and burned at exactly the same time during those years) a lot of you people thought Arte and the team's name change from Anaheim to Los Angeles were the greatest things since Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread. I knew then that the freak power surges in Mid-Late May followed by the team's entry into the post season were not because of Arte Moreno and Los Angeles; but now that the team is no longer even getting close to making the Post Season anymore, Arte Moreno sucks! Really?
  6. Paid $4.99 per gallon in Colorado. Let's go Brandon!
  7. Sorry to hear this, but The Angels haven't belonged in Anaheim since 2005. They really need to leave now that the deal has fallen through. I don't know why they can't play in Los Angeles. That's their city. Also, California isn't what it use to be, and people have been flocking away from there more and more. Colorado is one of the states Californians have been coming to. I'm in Colorado to stay, but we have an MLB Team here. North Carolina is another state people from California has been moving to. Charlotte could more than support an MLB Team, and it would be a good place for a team like The Angels.
  8. Actually, the Anaheim Ducks are. The question is, what will happen to Anaheim Stadium and the Platinum Triangle?
  9. The picture is a reminder that I'm not from Orange County so there are things I wouldn't know that people from OC would know. Most of the people here are from OC so they would already know the answer.
  10. That's okay. An Admin from the Facebook Group, "Angels Fan Heaven" answered my question. The stadium hasn't been purchased yet.
  11. Has Arte Moreno and The Angels purchased Angel Stadium of Anaheim yet? What's the latest?
  12. That is good news. I confess, that for the longest time, I hoped that The Halos would leave Orange County for good because it isn't L.A. But being that part of the Platinum Triangle is now the city's skid row, The Angels departure could have been devastating for the Platinum Triangle because the stadium would have never been used again. The deal involves the stadium being operational until 2050, if the deal is finalized.
  13. I'm glad to hear that. I hoped for a long time that The Los Angeles Angels would get the flock out of Orange County (Because is not L.A.); But, as it turns out, part of the Platinum Triangle has become the city's skid row. If the Angels had left Anaheim, that would have been the end of the Platinum Triangle. Arte and the Mayor saved the Platinum Triangle through the sale of the stadium to The Angels. But is the transaction of Anaheim selling the stadium to Arte Moreno complete?
  14. Here in Colorado Springs, Gas was under $2 per Gallon while Donald Trump was still in the White House. When Joe Biden took office in January 2021, he shut down the pipeline and that's when Gas Prices started to go up. Today, the price of fuel is right about $4 per gallon in the Colorado Springs Area. Even though that is ridiculously high, I do understand that there are cities and areas where the prices per gallon are between $5 and $7 per gallon. My cousin posted this picture on Facebook of the price of gas in Cambria, California.
  15. This 19th Century Old West Campfire Song was popularized by the 'Singing Cowboy,' Gene Autry, who brought Western Folk Music, PLUS the American League in Major League Baseball to the West Coast, and eventually to Anaheim California (My hometown). Pacifico, a street near Anaheim Stadium, was later renamed "Gene Autry Way."
  16. Dave Kingman finished his career in 1986 with 442 Homeruns and 1210 RBI's. He didn't just hit those homers over the fence either. Back then, those were Hall of Fame Records. Here's the thing. He also struck out one out of every three at bats, his height (6'6") caused him to make errors in the field, and he was a sociopath and hard to get along with. He mistreated a lot of sportswriters (who do the HOF voting). They made a pact to vote King Kong off the ballot his very first year of eligibility, and they did. That's okay. But Kong hit those homeruns UNDER HIS OWN POWER (Some off stadium property), none of this doping up and hulking out on PED's year after year like Bonds, Sosa, Canseco, McGuire, Clemens, Palmiero, Alomar, etc. So, if a power hitter is voted off the ballot because he's a jerk, even though he is clean, fine. But, don't immortalize cheaters who didn't set Homerun Records under their own power and devices. Ortiz is okay because he only tested positive once in 2003. Most of his records were set under his own power and devices.
  17. Ortiz did test positive for PED's one year, granted (2003). That tells me that the rest of the time he was setting records under his own power and devices. LaDanian Tomlinson of the Chargers Football Team once bought Color T.V. Sets for several Fire Victims in Southern California, and nobody told him to perform that philanthropic act, he did that entirely on his own as he was a philanthropist, and a good Man on and off the field. Big Papi did stuff like that too, and was quite the philanthropist as well--a good Christian man on and off the field. Despite the one year he tested positive, I could understand why he would be given a pass. Bonds and Clemens were continually doping up and hulking out on PED's, and then continually lying through their teeth about it. Jose Canseco has been tweeting about Ortiz and protesting his being enshrined. He has had a burr under his saddle because he wasn't enshrined, but voted off the ballot the first year. Canseco was out of line, because he, like Bonds and Clemens were "Perpetual Cheaters," Ortiz was not. David "Big Papi" Ortiz belongs in the Hall of Fame.
  18. That is less than 6% of the votes which means he is off the ballot forever. Bonds and Clemens can still get in through the Veteran's Committee.
  19. Way to go Big Poppi! David Ortiz was/is a Great Human Being as well as a Great Player. I'm sorry, but the cheaters don't belong in the Hall of Fame.
  20. He could act, dance, and had a great tenor voice. In theater, someone who could act, sing and dance was referred to as a "Triple Threat." He was one of the most talented T.V. Stars I ever saw on the TV Screen during my youth. RIP. Eddie Mekka, Carmine on 'Laverne & Shirley,' dead at 69 (msn.com)
  21. This event has shown that even though you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, that doesn't mean you can't ever catch the virus. General Powell was vaccinated for COVID-19, and he not only caught the virus, he died from it. This is good reason enough for Joe Biden not to hurl mandates at the American People. RIP Colin Powell, and thank you for your great service to our country.
  22. I only know one thing. If anyone mentions Bitcoin to you..... RUN!!!!!!
