    Draft picks are lottery tickets. Has Canning thrown a pitch professionally yet? If you can secure the rotation for a few years by adding 3/36 and losing a draft pick I think it's a good deal. There might be more competition at the deadline, right now it seems there are deals to be had. Plus deadline deals mean losing prospects, isn't that what they're trying to save?

    Damn. Yankees are really going all in this year. I'd love the Angels to sign Cobb and push Ramirez or Shoe to the pen.

    There were reports that Kinsler declined a trade to a team last year. Knowing now that we are on his no trade list, wonder if it was to the Angels.

    Orioles have no problem scoring runs but have never had the pitching to compete. They'll want to make a final push before they lose Machado, Jones, etc. If we offered pitching they could control in case of a rebuild, they'd at least consider it.

    Who wouldn't make that deal? Adam Jones is in his last year though so they'd probably ask for an OF too. Schoop and Simmons played together in the WBC and are reportedly friends.

    Hopefully the Angels claimed him. He plays great defense and Cowart is better at 3rd. Do you really want to see more of Marte and Valbuena at 3rd?

    I remember the same arguments about GA and I'd love him back. I'd settle for Lorenzo Cain in left but we need another MOTO bat.

    Claim Kinsler and get him for next to nothing. Put Cowart at 3B with Escobar hurt and if he does well, give him the spot for next year. If not, sign moose. Sign Upton for LF. Sign Darvish.

    I wouldn't want Dee but I feel like he's the easiest way to upgrade 2B and if Cowart plays well he can move to 3B or a UTL role if we sign Moustakes.
