I didn't understand the poll - I have to tick a box AND add a number to the thread

I've tried for a few years to get my young nephew into Angels baseball (I'm in the UK remember so the game gets almost zero exposure over here). After his family went on holiday to Florida last year and he saw some games on TV I finally have him fairly hooked. Of course, I promised him that the last few years were an aberration and the Angels would rock this year! Luckily he didn't believe me and his enthusiasm hasn't yet waned, every morning he sends me an e-mail or a text making some comment. Today he sent, "Crap result but at least Bourjos is back!" I replied, "bringing back Babe Ruth wouldn't help this team!" He said "who?!" I guess I have some way to go with him yet!

Texas are irrelevant. They can win 120 games for all it matters to the Angels. And if they win those 120 games beating wild card chasing teams (other than the Angels obviously) all the better. Angels only have to make the play-offs and then worse case scenario is they will have to beat Texas in a 5 games series. And that is doable. Season not over!

If he gets fired mid-season he still picks up a fat check I assume. Perhaps he realises its coming in the winter, this season is done so might as well get fired as soon as possible and spend the summer on the beach....maybe....
