Haha, it's funny when someone doesn't understand their own posts. If I "only want players" why did I include Autry? I have no doubt that Scioscia is a Hall of Fame manager, or at least he should be in my eyes, but I wouldn't put him on the mountain above the four I listed.

I don't see how one could carve out this mountain without putting Autry up there first and foremost. Without him, the Angels simply don't exist. He is the all time face of the franchise. When I think of Baylor and Grich, I think of the Orioles. When I think of Ryan, I think of the Astros. Scioscia is certainly one of the all-time great managers, but he is also one of the all-time great Dodgers. I still picture Guerrero in an Expos uniform. I'll go with Autry, Fergosi, Salmon, and Trout
