  1. How are the Angels compared to other major league teams as far as shifts?
  2. Gubi: Hammy stayed back well on the change up, just nothing to show for it. A grounder into a shift... yippee.
  3. Our BP was going to be the death of us two months ago.
  4. Regardless of how Wilson pitched, there was zero chance his answers would be anything but what he said.
  5. Oh that is great. Where is that from?
  6. Nope, its not ridiculous. I've read it here many times. Oh, and the ESPN mentions when we sign a Vlad or Pujols.
  7. Good lord. Proves my long held theory that many fans like the hot stove more than the game itself. The day we signed Vlad or Pujols were their best days as a fan in Angels history.
  8. The crowd sounded like a regional professional wrestling circuit match, and Boesch was the Iranian, spitting on the American flag.
  9. 14 years of taking an hour's worth of calls from a) some of the most braindead morons in SoCal; or a bunch of AO's on crack
  10. Boesch flings his bat into the stands (unintentionally) on two straight pitches. The Fresno crowd reacts accordingly. The reaction from the fatties from Fresno at about 00:50 are hilarious. http://deadspin.com/brennan-boesch-flings-bat-in-stand-on-consecutive-swing-1616886551
  11. Hope it isn't the newfound board favorite who played in the midwest under Tony LaRussa (not Friese).
  12. I like the Pujols guy who is doing things in 2014 for the Angels - not the guy who with career milestones and career this and that.
  13. Albert Pujols insisted that he was just playing within the confines of the game, because the Angels' lead was only five and the Dodgers' high-powered offense would still get to bat a couple more times. That ballplayers even have to explain why they did something positive - but not breaking UNWRITTEN RULES is one of the more irritating things about baseball.
  14. What on earth?? After the Dodgers sale, McCourt shits 100 dollar bills, and wipes his ass with 1,000 dollar bills.
  15. All the owners have to do is renegotiate at the next CBA. The player's union has been historically just too strong. If the owners wanted, they could wait them out. But they don't.
  16. Its not even Big Catorce any more. Just catorce. I love it.
  17. The Braves were playing the Giants one time, and Jeffrey Leonard was up with 1 out for the Giants. Chip Carey says that the late night movie will be on "as soon as Leonard hits into a 6-4-3." The next pitch.... Leonard hits into a 6-4-3. (its 17 seconds long, go ahead and watch) good times.
