  1. Trade Hamilton for him, and send Niese to the Scott Kazmir Rehab Clinic.
  2. There are new WS ratings lows practically every year. Who gives an F?
  3. Haha, now that you say it, that sounds familiar. But to be fair, Chuck has nice feet.
  4. Front office thought he was good to go, and over his troubles, on Aug 30, 2013. When the discussion turns to off-the-field issues, his new GM politely declines to engage in that line of conversation. But when asked how confident he is that the Angels will some day see the Josh Hamilton who still has approximately $110 remaining on his deal over the next four years, Jerry Dipoto replies: "Very confident, actually." "He's still a naturally gifted player," Dipoto said. "I believe in those natural gifts. And I believe we'll see the Josh Hamilton we're familiar with as we move forward. It's been a difficult transition. But I believe we're seeing a guy who has taken off, based on what he's done over the last three weeks, and we'll have that guy moving forward. I still think the upside of what he can do is tremendous." http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9615491/what-happened-josh-hamilton a little bonus from the article
  5. The funny thing about the Angels' big dollar signings is when they go south, they go south immediately. Moo wrenched his ankle about three innings into his first game as an Angel. GMJ had needles delivered to him before his first spring training. Pujols was here almost two months before his first home run. Hamilton showed up to Spring Training looking like Skeletor due to his 'juice diet'. Its usually downhill as soon as the ink is dry.
  6. Then why are we constantly buying big name FA? The Cardinals do just the opposite, they let suckers like the Angels take their expired goods, and it doesn't seem to negatively effect them at all. In fact, none of the four teams left rely on big name FAs.
  7. A guy with his finger up his ass told me that CJ Wilson is headed to the Florida Marlins. Good lord. Four pages over some sh*t flung on a wall.
  8. Agreed. Because Scioscia will still play with these toys daily, even if they are broken down and barely working. Because, hey, the toy worked well in 2011.
  9. Jeez, Angels GMs have to deal with more HazMat removal than any other team I can think of.
  10. Those telltale signs were observable his last year in Texas as well. Some 'smart' baseball people didn't do their homework. An LA-centric owner saw a shiny bauble and had $125 million burning a hole in his pocket.
  11. Braintrust is pot committed. I could tell during the playoffs.
  12. He also has the greater potential than the average player to spectacularly go down in flames.
  13. Against pictures of pets? What kind of monster are you?? and btw, its always pics of Starbucks. Never Its a Grind, or Seattle's Best. My worst, is the middle aged broads and the pics of their feet at the pool or beach.
  14. Okay, away from the inspirational pics for a minute.... this is just frigging gross (this is my first entry ever here from a guy)
  15. Here are the time of games of the AL playoffs so far: 4:45 4:05 3:48 3:38 3:42 3:41 3:41 4:37 4:17 NL: 3:12 3:57 3:27 3:04 3:05 3:55 6:23 2:47 3:15 3:23 3:41
  16. The games are four and a half hours for nine innings. How big do you want the tv window to be?
  17. That may be my favorite yet. It cannot get cornier. Thing is, I just turned fifty, and few of my male friends are on fb. So my fb is loaded with the wives of my friends - and these middle aged broads post these ALL DAY LONG.
  18. I am definitely into the Royals, but I can't offer four and a half hours of Buck Showalter changing pitchers every night. I have no interest in the NLCS. I am still not sure where that channel is on direct tv. 219 nI think.
