Does Shohei have a better chance of winning the Cy Young as opposed to the MVP? 

The Angels are 32 games back and I’m still tuning in. A couple of bright spots still on this team. Luis, Shohei, and Trout are still enough for me to stay in this Saturday. 

I can’t be the only one cautiously optimistic for next year.

I don’t know where to post this but how on earth does marcell ozuna find the lineup two days after a DUI charge? No internal discipline for that seems ridiculous.

Nice to have some positivity here lately. 

I don’t know what happened in June but this team really isn’t that bad. 
 

If there is any chance Trout and Rendon can stay healthy this should be a playoff team next year. I really believe that. 
 

We should have a serviceable rotation, and I am very comfortable in having Fletcher, and Rengifo in the middle of the infield. 
 

I also enjoy watching Velazquez play even tho he can’t hit worth a damn. He would be nice to have on the roster as a defensive replacement. Man that guy has a good glove. 
 

We have a lot of holes to make up but this team is showing real glimpses of hope.

Two, sign one of the SS.  I would like Swanson, because he's younger, and he probably won't have the asking price of Boegarts.  

If we do anything else, we need to increase the payroll enough to add another starter, someone like Bassitt, and another hitter, I would like to add Mancini, because we really need to address our lack of offense.  

How realistic is Swanson?

I was lucky enough to be at the game tonight, and games like those remind me why I am a baseball fan. 
 

Sandoval threw me up a baseball after his last warmup pitch he threw before heading out of the pen. 
 

The 9 year old beside me got “8 or 7 autographs” from Angel players. I was really impressed by the friendliness of Detmers, Chavez, Hergett, Touki, Butera, and Davidson alike. 
 

Life’s good gentleman. Hopefully this is a playoff team next year.
