  1. My signature positive memory of him is a pregame show feature on a charity event he hosted benefitting some kind of program pairing dogs with kids at Children's Hospital. He seemed/seems like a good man. But that's not what you want to have as your best memory of a ballplayer, especially when he was traded for one of your three favorite Angels ever. More than any single player, Heaney represented the last six years of Angels baseball: Each spring we would convince ourselves that maybe THIS would be the year that he turned it around, and each summer we would be disappointed anew. I am glad this era is over.
  2. If I don't ever again have to watch him pitch in an Angels uniform, that's more than enough for me.
  3. Let Bundy stay in long enough to face Canha again and put one in his ear. Then release him.
  4. I knew this would be wrong but I thought it might take longer than half an inning for it to be proven so.
  5. Kershaw, Seager and Mookie are on the IL. Bauer is on the Degenerate List.
  6. Same. I wasn't a big fan of a lot of the videos on his show (particularly gross-out or people getting hurt) but I loved his sense of humor, the more inappropriate the better.
  7. I rarely watch cable anymore; does he still have a show?
  8. I didn't think of it that way.
  9. We don't know this at all.
  10. Fair enough, but like USC vs Notre Dame or Ohio State vs Michigan, I dislike both teams but enjoy watching them play. The Sox don't have a hit through six; when they get one I will probably stop watching.
  11. I Googled that because I thought there was a 40% chance you made it up. Sorry for doubting you.
  12. I went back to Sox-Yankees. Will watch this until the Sox get a hit. Then... I dunno. Any cricket today?
  13. Maybe. That kind of thing is above my pay grade. Others have mentioned yoga, moving him from center field, etc. I have no idea. This does not help my depression, Jason!
  14. No surprise. It was obvious he wasn't returning soon and any update would not be good news. The truly depressing thing to me is wondering how many more times we will see this scenario over the next decade. It is no longer being whispered about; multiple articles have been written about Trout's inability to stay healthy.
