Syndergaard looked great, Trout went yard, and that's the bullpen we've been hoping for. Great way to spend a Saturday evening.

My first reaction: Really? That high?

If Trout were still working out with heavy tires, that one would have cleared the fence.

1) Ohtani at the plate with Trout on deck is such an exciting thing. It's what Trout and Pujols should have been. 2) I wonder if Adell will ever be competent in the outfield or if I am going to hold my breath every time a ball is hit in his direction. 3) I would have loved a win but it's just one game against the defending AL champs.

Stop me if you've heard this one before: Ohtani looks great, the offense is MIA against a lefty, Adell looks comically lost in the outfield

I can just tell Ohtani and Duffy are going to be battling each other all season for team MVP.

A cute new (single) woman started in my office. She has a chocolate lab. "So do I," I said. "We should take them to the dog park," she said. "Or you could just bring yours over to my place," I replied. "I have several acres for them to explore without all those other annoying dogs." "That sounds great," she said. The only problem is that the chocolate lab I called mine isn't actually mine - it's my parents' dog and they live three hours away. So now I have to make the drive to borrow their dog. Unless you can rent them. Can you rent them?
