    I'm having a BBQ Saturday for UCLA-Oregon and Dodgers-Braves Game 6. I thought I did not want the Braves to win tonight, but as the game goes on I realize No, I definitely wanted them to win tonight.

    If your starting pitcher has given up two hits to 2021 Albert Pujols, maybe he doesn't have it tonight. But by all means, leave him in there.

    I was not sure the Braves would lose four in a row after what happened last night; I thought perhaps they would win one more. I was positive it would not be this game. Yet another reminder of why I am not a major league ballplayer.

    If I were an MLB manager, I would yank any pitcher who issues a walk with the bases loaded and any pitcher who throws Albert something in the strike zone. He will wave at curveballs in the dirt all day and yet pitchers still throw him stuff over the heart of the plate. Although something tells me this won't be an issue much longer.

    You took the words right out of my mouth. Unable to develop pitching and unwilling to overpay for it or acquire it by tanking, I am not sure where that leaves us other than saying "Well, I hope this is the year we finally have good luck." That being said, I remember feeling disgusted with the organization 20 years ago this month and saying "Damn, maybe this young group is never going to get it together." It's baseball, you never know what might happen.
