the minor league baseball players make their money with the signing bonus. been told the the guys in a ball make about $1000 a month. so these guys are excited when a major leaguer plays on their team for a rehab game. the major leaguer knows what it is like in a ball, so the major leaguer pays for a feast for the guys. sure the booster club help, but they can only do so much in finding room and board. there are host families, but not enough.

What impressed me about Coleman Crow last night was in the 6th inning, his last, the 2nd baseman lost pop fly in the lights and the ball fell behind him. The batter made a wide turn around first and the 2nd baseman threw widely behind him to first and the runner made it to second The next batter had a pass ball. runner at 3rd. Crow bot the remaining batters out with no one scoring.

"Nick Adenhart was drafted by the Angels in the 14th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft, and began playing in their minor league system after the surgery was a success. He spent three full seasons in the minor leagues before making his major league debut on May 1, 2008." So maybe 2024ish for Jackson Jobe.

These millionaire pitchers should contribute to the cause of Bubba Harkins since they benefited from it and paid next to nothing for it.

Need to be realist, only ten percent of the guys on a minor league team are going to make it to the MLB, that includes being only September call ups too. So on a twenty five man minor league roster only 2.5 of them are going to progress to the MLB. This does not discriminate against draft position, just high bonus players receive a longer leash.

No chance Rocker be available when the Angels draft.

Taylor Blake Ward ·I spoke to a pro scouting director about a month back who said Max Stassi was a top 10 catcher in baseball, I kind of brushed it off but gotta say, when he hits the way he has been, he's up there

Who knows he may be the next Mike Piazza.

The Angels are turning to Cuba for their future catcher. First it is Edgar Quero, signed this year and Jonathan Linares next year. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffnt&q=cuban+c+edgar+quero&atb=v228-1&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dd_WAMskYDXQ Francys Romero Sources: The Angels will sign Cuban C Jonathan Linares (16) when the next international signing period opens in January 2022. Linares left Cuba in 2020, he is a switch hitter with remarkable defensive skills.
