I can see the logic behind letting the SP prospects pitch only 75-80 per start, save the arm for the majors. With AA more or less being the jumping point to the majors, if they do not have the experience going 7-8 innings, they will not do it in the majors.

Suarez has been doing this in short outings 3 to 4 innings. Unless he increases his innings per outing he is projecting as a reliever at best.

Schimpf should take Valbuena spot on next years team at league minimum. Eppler mentioned somthing about he is the type of bat the Angels are looking for.

I was wondering why Kevin Williams was skipped over Low A. Small sample size, but I think the Angels wanted Adell, Hunter and Marsh to play together at Low A and Williams was the odd man out.. Williams has been over matched so far.

Lets hope the position change enables Ward to improve on his hitting and he makes it to the majors as Eppler believes he will.
