  1. Taking BP is an awesome sign. Sounds like he's fully healed and conditioning his upper body. Hope he starts a rehab assignment soon, and doesn't stay down too long. I'd rather watch him work on his timing and stuff at the major league level, considering the W/L don't matter much. Oh wait, he plays for the Angels ... ... mandatory 3 week rehab assignment!!
  2. What's the word, hummingbird?
  3. Sweet! I rock my national team jersey all the time. I've also got a scarf that says HAJDUK and TORCIDA on either side in huge block letters (f'n love that thing!) but never have the occasion to wear it. When I do, I secretly hope to run into some Dinamo fans so I can mock them. Hajduk Živi Vječno! Now back to beer: Almanac Beer Co. - Farmers Reserve #3 Sour ale, aged in wine barrels with strawberries and nectarines Soinds SUPER gay, but is friggin awesome, and everyone knows that real men drink sour beers
  4. Just like there are executive orders handed down by the President, I wonder if state governors hold a similar type of power. I mean, they can pardon people, but there's no crime being committed. Is the judge who handed down his ruling a federal judge? Would his decision somehow supercede the state law?
  5. 2 RBI 2B and a solid string of 4 games. His value will never be higher! Trade his ass!!!!
  6. Dude, what the f*ck WAS that?
  7. I think Yojimbo will be next on my list, if for no other reason than Mifune and Kurosawa spoke so highly of it themselves. There's also Throne of Blood
  8. It's a great movie, like most Costner baseball flicks. But I just don't see the attraction of travelling all the way to BFE Iowa to look at a baseball diamond in the middle of a corn field.
  9. But you should see the reaction I get when I tell people mr wicked went to my high school That morsel of information has saved my bacon many times
  10. Anaheim Brewery Helles Hella good. I also tried their Schwarz. Jet black, roasted malt, but medium body (unlike, say, Köstritzer) Decent overall
  11. It's an old movie set located in the midwest (right?), and consists of a baseball field and some corn. Meh. If you wanna get all upset, look at what's been done to Downey Studios. My company is involved in the environmental cleanup of the entire gigantic property, and nearly every building, street, and set has been razed and torn to the ground.
  12. Seven Samurai - 50's Japanese 'western', and the basis for The Magnificent Seven It stars a couple of Japan's most famous actors, and is directed by their most famous director. Definitely worth checking out. I've watched it twice this week.
  13. I was privileged enough to visit the eastern shore of the Salton Sea today. 115 out, and I had to trek around a huge lot littered with broken glass and barbed wire. You know it's hot when your phone overheats just sitting in your hand.
  14. Well on the bright side, I have a lawn mowing service I can recommend, brought to you by AW ad generators!

That site is like AW's alcoholic east coast cousin "Gross. David Carradine turned to stranglebation on a night such as this."
  16. Dude, who the f*ck owns a Zune and brings it out in public??
  17. Went to the Angel game and watched from the Anaheim City Council's luxury suite, which is located directly behind home plate. It was my first time in a box and I was blown away with how cool it was. It was made even better since 3/4ths of the dozen or so people in the suite were Cards fans, including the ones I came with. Prior to heading to the game, it was the usual beers and BBQ.
  18. Pretty remarkable considering deer are the dumbest creatures in the world.
  19. I guess they didnt say "regular season" so Halladay is the fourth.
  20. Buerhle is another, a perfecto in one of them.
  21. The announcers mentioned he is one of four active pitchers with 2 no-hitters. I can only think of Verlander being the second of four. Who are the other two?
  22. The rear end looks fine, though it looks to be catching a lot of flak from peeps chiming in in the comments sections of review sites. I think they knocked this one out of the park. All that performance and engineering is a friggin steal at $52k starting.
  23. Love it. When have they said it's their last season? I've also enjoyed watching James May's different nerdy programs.
