Rangers Angels A's Mariners Astros It's going to be tough, but I don't know how any fan can say we'd win 75 games. Basically, we'd have to be worse than last year with more bad luck. I don't want Garza, but I know Dipoto will get another starter. Personally, I'd also like another reliever, but what can I say. Basically, we only need guys to do what they're capable of. I don't see 90 wins as a problem. I think our division will give us more headaches than any other teams. If we can get more wins off Houston and Oakland, I think the team will be fantastic. The key is having a decent April. The team needs to have that confidence right off the bat. Oakland and Texas has shown they're not going to falter that much.

For me, it's Blanton and Williams. Otherwise, I think he's been pretty good. Didn't want to trade Morales or Trumbo, but we got the pitching we needed.

Variables? Do you mean the other teams, our own roster, or both?

I think we can use another reliever as well, but I do agree with flop that last year was just a disaster and we should rebound nicely even as the team stands.

You think getting Tanaka only makes us 3 wins better than getting Garza?

I just think Chavez is too injury prone and as far as his bat, I don't think it's worth that much.

From what I've been reading, Dipoto seems to be saying that Frieri is going to stay the closer. I'm not happy with this, but this seems to be the direction. I'm not sure if he's saying this because he doesn't want to spend any more money on relief.

Looks pretty good although I would still like one more arm in the bullpen. If Burnett was a guarantee, I wouldn't be worried. Bench looks pretty weak if Cron doesn't make the team which is likely. One more starter (Tanaka) would be pretty good.

So based on what was mentioned here about Vargas/Santiago, does Dipoto do this trade if we signed Vargas?

I know we need pitching, but Skaggs doesn't look that good to me and Santiago appears mediocre. I know what Trumbo can do and we don't seem to have any impending replacements. For those who like this, please tell me why.

Ugh. If I had to get rid of one of them, I'd go with HK and he's my favorite player. Why? There's no guarantee Pujols and Hamilton can come back and, in that case, we need Trumbo. I think we can make do without HK, but I don't like the options. If Cron is ready, it's an easy pick for me, but I don't know if he is. As for Porcello, I don't want him. I don't know anything about Bradley.

Did Fredo have to die? What I mean is if you believe him when he said that he didn't know that there would be an attempted assassination on Michael, was it necessary for Michael to kill him?
