He made a number of good moves that made this team better. Picking up Patrick Sandoval, Tommy La Stella, Brian Goodwin, Dylan Bundy, Rendon, and SIGNING OHTANI! He made a lot of little moves that made the organization better and added much needed depth. He almost pulled off a great trade that would have brought in Ross Stripling and Joe Pederson. I think another couple of years he would have had this team in the playoffs while maintaining a solid pool of prospects. Honestly it looks like PM will be carrying over a similar approach, and building off what Eppler started.

I agree. He’s lost some velo, and is frequently injured, which is worrisome. There’s definite upside here though, especially taking him out of Cincy.
