I think Arte's yacht should become a stadium icon, like the apple or the marlins sculpture. Every time the Angels hit a homerun it "sails" around the outfield, blowing an air siren. If it's a grandslam, Arte himself has to run down and serve as Grand Marshall.

I don't hate Hamilton.  I didn't like his season much, but I'm not even close to giving up on him.  I'd love for him to prove the naysayers wrong.

I have always viewed the A's as the Angels main rival; not the Yankees, Red Sox or Rangers or another "hot" team in any given year.  It's deep rooted for me and goes back many, many years. 
 
I hate everything about the A's... and their demise has brought me great joy (right or wrong). 

The Angels would be 24 games over .500 in late August, despite the fact that Trout wasn't his normal awesome self, we got nearly zero production from our cleanup spot, below average production from our DH spot, started the season off 0-3 and didn't fully improve our bullpen until June, C.J. Wilson & Jered Weaver were below average, Tyler Skaggs out for the season with TJ Surgery and Matt Shoemaker was our 2nd best starter on the club behind Garrett Richards, I'd LMFAO and say yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah right! 
 
Props to Scioscia, the coaching staff and the players for stepping up. Oh major props to Dipoto for correcting our one glaring weakness in the bullpen before it was too late. 

Way to get out of that bases loaded no outs jam, Weaver! 

Considering he gave the bat he hit his 400th with to a kid at a local Houston hospital battling bran cancer, it is going to better place than the HOF.

The Angels are only one call-up away from being a good team. They are 2 call-ups away from being a great team, and 3 call-ups away from being an elite team.

I like your thinking and reasoning, Chuck....Hopefully, Dipoto and Scioscia have the same mindset.

This team is about to get hot. I could be wrong but I'm feeling it - this team just seems ripe to take off. Calhoun will be back soon, then a couple weeks later Hamilton. By the All-Star Break this team will be 10+ games above .500 and in the thick of a pennant race.
 
Pollyanna? Maybe, but I'd rather feel this way and be wrong than be totally bummed out.

I would give it back to him without hesitation. Being honored to have caught it, would be worth more to me than asking for something in return! If I was given something for it, that to, would add to the memories!

Albert Pujols will lead, with Mike Trout and others following suit!

How did they feel about him as he was trotting around the bases after hitting the HR that should have given the Angers their first WS title?  Were they just as disturbed by his addiction and hypocrisy then?
 
Dictionary.com defines hypocrite: 
a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.   Does that not make them hypocrites?
