He's definitely better in the playoffs.
-
He couldn't handle the crowds in Dallas and Anaheim. I wonder how he'd fare in NYC?
-
Posey.
-
Isn't Ethier making some crazy amount of money like 20M plus? I could very well be wrong.
-
The fact that they are the underdog scares me. It's easier to play as an underdog. And they have the whole heart of a small town team thing going on.

Adam has 462 career homers. I think he is at least somewhat appreciated without Moneyball.

Adam Dunn's quote is my favorite part by far. They made a big stink about him finally making the playoffs, the problem is, he didn't get a single AB.
A nice jab at BB:
"I guess the computer got me," Dunn said, referring to the A's "Moneyball" tactics.

Thanks lol
iPhone fail

The Oaksters have lost 7 of their last 9 one-run games.
If only they had some offensive production instead of all the amazing pitching!
-
I think the only problem lies between his ears, not his shoulder.
-
Dipoto has to go!

Lol ultimate fail
-
He makes Ricky Vaughn look like Greg Maddux.
-
Wow this guy is wild. lol

Amazing to think that just earlier this year there were threads here with the words "Why did Scioscia put _________ in instead of Frieri!!??!!"
Edit: Changed didn't to did, big difference. People actually wanted Frieri to close games!

I like the fact you selected the number "55"
I checked the box score for that game last year and he finished out the loss in mop up duty to the A's in a 10-6 loss. 2.0 IP 1 Hit, 1 K, no ER.
-
55th loss in 2013 = July 28th
55th loss in 2014 = September 3
Not too shabby!
-
Adam Dunn, go away.
-
Pujols sucks.
Trout sucks.
Hamilton sucks.
Fire Scioscia.
Fire Butcher.
Dipoto needs to make a move NOW.
OMG what do we do about CJ?
ARGHHHHHH AHH
Does that cover it?

Their only hope this year was Jose Altuve having a +95 WAR
-
They should hire Bob Melvin, he's already kicked his team under the bus.
And Brad Pitt while they're at it!

Out, but signing him after his prime sounds right up our alley.
