Give Roth, Rasmus, Rucinski one start then a few innings each after our call ups.
-
And you are basing this off of what exactly?
You've never heard of the famous Dr. Joey Wings?!?!?
-
we still have one more Richards-replacement start before rosters expand
Make sure we have a CG the day before then each reliever goes 1 inning.
-
Are any of the little leaguers free to sign now that the world series is over??
-
So am I ... I drive 75mph on the freeway everyday.
Dang, you're old!

Beckham is horrible. He used to have good defense but not so much anymore. He came up to the White Sox as the next Mike Trout (pre Mike Trout) and he hit .400 or something for a few months and the organization was going crazy over him. He's sucked ever since.

This is one way to polish a turd!
With that being said, I think we will see a dominant Weaver from here on out. I predict lights out.

If he does well through the A's series I'll eat my left shoe.

thanks for the jinx

We need to try for Niese or Colon. We have to pay to play now that we are in this situation.
-
nevermind about pujols then. i only looked at total HR
-
We should hire Frieri to some sort of position to throw some pitches to Josh in BP to get his confidence back.
-
-
Hopefully they meant mentally clear his head, not physically.
-
Yep, this series against the A's will define this season. If we win, they are demoralized even more than they already are and we are feeling good. If they win, they break their luck and turn things back around.
-
He was obviously on roids up until the break.
Oh and good thing he opted out of the HR derby so he wouldn't ruin his swing!
-
He will break out big time today.

I think they think they have a playoff spot locked so whatever happens until then doesn't matter. They got Lester for the playoffs.

If Pujols and HamilWhiffATon were doing better than a collective .780 OPS, which is maybe .030 better than a year ago, this wouldn't be as big of a discussion.
That being said, why can't the hitting solidly since July 1 Freese hit 5th and slumping miserably since July 1 Aybar hit 9th?
I get not relying on small sample sizes to change the lineup.
This is more than a small sample size (1.5 months).
Aybar is an Allstar and Scioscia remembers this!
-
At his age he should not be putting up anywhere close to these numbers, even his slumping numbers. He is still young and figuring things out. If he keeps progressing the record books are going to blow up.
-
How long til he will need TJ?
-
Good game minus Trout adding another 3 Ks to his total.
-
I thought the Pujols walk off in the 19th the other night would ignite this team. We need a spark from somewhere. Maybe a good bench clearing brawl.
**** you Oakland
