But I also wonder whether dealing with it is worth the political cost. Do you really think impeachment would damage Trump enough to get him voted out ? Think about how they lie now. Think about how Trump is viewed by a substantial number of Americans. How do you think this will go ? I have genuine doubts that it is effective as a means to cause Donald Trump to lose the election. In addition there is zero chance he would be removed through the impeachment process. It just seems like you’re running in circles man.

We’re probably not going to war, as in US troops actually invading is unlikely. But the odds are solid that some kind of armed conflict is coming. Surely orchestrated by us.

Cuba has like 20+ thousand doctors and nurses in Venezuela. It’s apparently true that there have been instances where Maduro has used these people as a kind of extortion by withholding medical aide. That’s not surprising because the country is a disaster and Maduro is terrible. But the idea that there’s some large armed Cuban military force suppressing the people of Venezuela appears to be complete bullshit.
