I'm going with Iannetta's 6 for 65 start at the plate.

I would rather see Green in LF and Joyce on the pine.  Run prevention is still important even if you do need to pick up the offense.

Tomorrow will be a big test for CJ...
Hitter friendly park against a high scoring Toronto team that has lost 5 in a row. Holiday here in Canada so there will probably be a decent crowd there tomorrow too.
I kind of expect the CJ of old to reappear, but if CJ has a strong outing again tomorrow I'd have to think he'll have some trade value. Trade CJ for some much needed offense and call up Tropeano!

Every time they show haren's line they show "Lost last 5 starts (10.03 ERA)"

He barely even pitched today. Might as well have just been a relief apperance

After watching Hill I have to ask: what is the problem with taking a gamble on Downs again?

I believe he was referring to Joe Smith, the reliever with the sub-3.00 ERA who barely walks anyone, gets a bunch of groundballs and a fair number of strikeouts as well.

That's because GA was saving all his energy for when he encountered AW members at Roger Dunn.

    Thank God for Joe Smith.

I'd have gone with Frieri over Herrera but no harm no foul.

They are one pen arm short of being solid and two from being good.

We could really use DDLR and Burnett right now.  Big time.  That would go a long way to really rounding out this team.  If these guys are gonna be back soon, I'd hold off on bringing up Alvarez and I'd save Bedrock as a secret weapon for a stretch run.

They need to get to a point where Jep is a situational Rher, and Salas is the last guy out and doesn't have to pitch in close games.  Maronde and Herrera belong in AAA.

    It's coming along though.
