  1. Just awful, Scioscia. What are you thinking Mike?? Ibanez hitting cleanup? Aybar 2nd instead of Calhoun/Cowgill? wHAT THE ****
  2. Weaver Richards Skaggs Wilson CJ pitching a must win game is not something I want to have to endure.
  3. Lol, Bourjos for Freese is pretty even honestly. Bourjos isn't exactly lighting it up in STL. Bourjos is a great fielder, but he can't hit. That's been the case for the last 3 years now. Let's give Freese 200-300 at bats in an Angels uniform then we can start to evaluate him
  4. He also has his team in 1st place for the 3rd straight year with a minuscule payroll. But yeah, we won this trade...Go Dipoto!
  5. IMO it is clear he has nothing left to learn being in AAA. He needs to get his 300-400 MLB at bats this year and figure it out. He's playing real well which is an added bonus for him. I just pray to God Sosh/Dipo don't send him down once we get healthy.
  6. Why does Pujols take that 1st pitch? Best pitch he's going to see...
  7. I ****ing love Cowgill's plate discipline. We haven't had a 4th OF like him in a LONG time.
  8. I don't think we've had that good of a 4th outfielder since Jeff Davanon. If Cowgill turns into another Jeff Davanon I'll be happy.
  9. The ball beat him by a mile. He was safe, but I agree it was still dumb to go home on that
  10. This organization is embarrassing for still having Stewart on the roster. Sick of watching this shit
  11. You want perspective? Angels have missed the playoffs the last 4 years and are under .500 this season so far. What a surprise most people don't believe this team can win against good teams.
  12. Normally I would be fine with taking a risk on someone with this kind of upside, but since Tony Reagins used to be our GM and left the starting pitching minor league depth in shambles, I think we need to go with a safer pick. I usually like these gambles though, since TJ is usually successful these days
  13. The super fans need to bookmark this post. It could not be more correct.
  14. That post is from a moderator...wow...I love it when condescending posters make a fool out of themselves Anyway, 2-4 is about what we should expect against 2 good teams. because the Angels are a very flawed team.
  15. Scioscia will leave him in the rotation the rest of the year. The man is too stubborn to make a change in May
  16. It's time to clean house. Whatever the current strategy is just isn't effective. This team is incapable of getting 2 games over .500 for 2 years straight. A new voice has been needed for years, I'm embarrassed to be a fan of a team that never holds its coaches accountable for poor performance. Maybe Arte should sell the team and buy the Clippers.
  17. Agreed...Us, the Mets, and the Cubs are the laughing stocks of big market teams. Pathetic
  18. Game over...back under .500. This team is finished
