This just feels like a game we're going to lose. One thing is for sure, we have to get Kuroda out of this game. Cannot allow him to go 9 here.

The problem is that even if Green had played, Stewart was still set to be in the lineup anyway. He has no upside whatsoever. He's just a warm body making outs. We have some young guys who have some experience at 3rd that need to be given a change over this washed up player who will be bagging groceries in a year and a half.

You cannot convince me that Stewart is more productive than Green is, and I don't care how bad Green would do defensively at 3rd

Scioscia gave Steve Finley 440 plate appearances in 2005...he hit .222/.271/.374 Dipoto can't keep Ibanez on the roster all season, Scioscia will play him

I didn't have a problem with the signing. I have a problem if he gets 500+ PAs no matter what just because he's a veteran. He needs to be released by mid-June if he doesn't turn it around. Give him 50-100 more PAs and if he still sucks, it's time for him to go.

Cron may not be ready, Ibanez sucks...everyone always complains about Iannetta's poor defense, why not stick him at DH every game? Yeah, he's not going to hit .290, but he gets on base more than anyone on the team not named Trout. I feel he's without a doubt our best option at the DH position for the time being. It also keeps Conger's bat in the lineup every game (way better than Ibanez). I understand they want to give Cron a chance, but he doesn't seem ready to me. He's chasing a lot of pitcher's pitches from what I've seen.

Good stuff. Starting pitching has been a pleasant surprise. And we get Bedrock, Alvarez, and Morin all in the bullpen in the near future!

For a game like today, I usually turn it the hell off. Not worth it

Yeah, this season is definitely more frustrating than even last year. Last year we sucked and everyone knew it. This year we have potential but are about 3 pen arms short of being a real threat. I can't wait until Hamilton and Calhoun come back.

It is so frustrating that this team continues to get owned by Texas. I'm really sick and tired of it. I just want one season where we come out and beat these guys asses.
