I've been waiting for this guy to climb the ladder. A 43 to 5 strikeout to walk ratio is ridiculous. I can't wait for he and Alvarez to make their way to Anaheim.
Although he hasn't officially signed he wrote about himself on his twitter bio as a "Los Angeles Angels prospect". So I guess that's a good sign on him signing.
From the looks of this interview he's planning on signing the deal. He talks about how the next step would be heading to Tempe for Rookie ball and how his goal is to make the Majors in 3 years. An ambitious goal to say the least but if he works hard who am I to count it out? Can't wait to see this kid's development! http://www.wbko.com/sports/headlines/Hunter-Green-Sits-Down-with-WBKO-210645011.html?ref=011
"You don't want a guy down there wasting bullets if he's ready," Scioscia said. "He does need a little work, but he doesn't need to be stretched out to 30 pitches."
How contradicting.
With all the arms we have been calling up this year I'm surprised not one of them was Fernando Cabrera. He pitched well in in the Classic and is pitching pretty well at AAA.
