  1. MLB Network just mentioned the Angels as "front-runners" to land Mike Minor. So take that with a grain of salt.
  2. wow last I heard about Blake he was killing it in Minny.
  3. Maitan hopefully finishes the year strong but they may have him start the season again at Low-A Burlington or maybe push him to High-A. Either way at some point next season he will be a 20-year old in High-A. It's crazy to think how young this guys still is. If he has just one strong minor league season I believe he jumps right back into the top-50 prospects in baseball.
  4. With Livan Soto's return and Adrian Rondon's promotion, Burlington is turning into quite the hot spot for our farm system: Cole Duensing, Jose Soriano, Hector Yan, Kevin Maitan, Livan Soto, Adrian Rondon, Jordyn Adams, Nonie Williams.
  5. If he struggles one more time I say he gets the hook.
  6. Isn't Upton one of the streakiest hitters in baseball? He should get hot soon enough. His defense on the other hand...
  7. Their guy has a bruise on his shoulder blade. Our guys is out for a month with surgery for a broken nose.
  8. Whatever, I don't agree with this. If this prevents our guys from being thrown at in tonight's game then so be it. Thank God all this is over with.
  9. Byrnes needs to lay off the caffeine
  10. He's definitely referring to Marsh headlining a trade package but still, Rosenthal must be very high on Marsh to say that "they probably could land any starting pitcher they wanted". Marsh is slashing .295/.392/.405 as a 21-year old in Double-A. He's got the discipline, the ability to provide gold glove defense in center field and is a power surge away from being a top-50 prospect in my opinion. Rosenthal knows this and I'm sure many other organizations do as well.
  11. As much as I hate to rearrange the clubhouse after all this team has been through, I feel that Kole's value is as high as it gets right now. Dude is on pace for 35 homers and an OPS of .800 with elite defense in right field. If he is not a part of the future we need to deal him. But should we just deal him in the offseason? Because my question is if we trade him at the deadline who do we slot in at RF? Do you think the team would call up Adell? If we don't then the team gets worse for the rest of this season when we are right in the race for the second wild card spot. If Adell were to finish the rest of the season in Anaheim, what could his numbers look like? Is a .270/.340/.450 slash line doable?
  12. Damn that’s horrible. Following through reloading box score sucks
