  1. Today I learned that this Trout, he's a good guy. Rest of team sucks matted moaky nutsack hair. Again.
  2. I really question if some of you are actually Angel fans. Of course I voted Yes. Scioscia is the single best chance we have at getting high draft picks and restocking the farm. Shame on all of you who voted No! Monsters.
  3. This is more depressing than reading CNN. Aaaaaand I don't even read.
  4. Yeah, I'm impressed they won the series. Sure, losing an opportunity to go ahead 3 in the standings is huge but lets be realistic. I was convinced they would lose a game in the standings when all was said or done, so gaining a game? That's like winning a playoff game for this team. Be happy.
  5. I have all the belief in the world that the team will not let me down... ...and finish just outside of a top-10 pick, in 4th place, battling...but scuffling a bit...with the ball coming out of their hands well...and are just about to turn that corner. Almost. As of late, the NFL was perfectly created and preseason timed for Angel fans
  6. Annnnnnnnd down goes the rest of the Dipoto bandwagon.
  7. Implying those same people see this series as a negative. It's simply a warm-up to the next winning streak and will highlight how a world-class manager like Scioscia will (eventually) get them to stop losing and win another few games in a row. Without him, all this would ... quite literally ... be impossible. Praise.
  8. Oakland just won in the bottom of the 11th. Seems they battled before turning the page. Ohmy73yhfr.
  9. ...but I'm just a mortal. Last night the radio broadcast announced it was the Mariner's 20th straight game with a HR - a club record. I was arguing with a friend that these type of stats, while fun, are not tightly coupled to the strength of the team. Source: The current Mariners. So we tried to think of what year the Angels team had set the same record and can't confirm the year. I want to see that team. Halp. Will post pictures of Scioscia in return.
  10. Plot twist: I'm a psychological counselor.
  11. Sources tell me that by 2019, and with a new manager, the Angels are considered more than just an outlier at making .500 again. I'm very pumped by this news! For now, it is a sad state that without Trout, we'd probably be 15+ games behind and have no starting representative at the ASG despite having the two largest free agent signing offseason's for two years running. Calling it a catastrophe would be far too much of an award.
  12. He is, however, a very thoughtful man. He provided fans with 4 nice souvenirs.
  13. So close to maybe tying the game up and another possible exciting finish. Now, 1 more game back again. It's like a sports enema after you've eaten a large amount of Korean BBQ freshwater eel with an extra helping of kimchi and dried smelt in oil. And cuttlefish. With vanilla paste. Anyway...
  14. All of you are wrong. According the most LA Laker fan boards, overnight Howard became the worst defender ever. Shuck isn't all The Suck. Ahh hell, who am I kidding. He does drink the warm taint.
  15. At this trajectory, it's hard to see him even playing ball in 4-5 years. He's looking so old, I think the key on Ben Franklin's kite was to his locker.
  16. Haha wow! I'm laughing so hard. That rivals most of the Reddit front page posts.
  17. Everyone at work talks about Puig every morning like I work at Puig, Inc. Didn't happen with Trout. We're based in West LA so probably why but still. He's a historical beast right now but also incredibly popular for whatever reason. He will be in the ASG one way or another. Fair or not. Bareev it.
  18. ESPN's summary: Since being called up, Puig leads the majors with 44 hits in that span, while leading the National League with a .436 batting average and a .467 on-base percentage. Puig is also ranked in the top three in home runs (seven), runs (19), slugging percentage (.713) and total bases (72). It's a staggering debut that has been rivaled in the history of baseball by only one man -- Joe DiMaggio. That is pretty effing amazing. Yap, let it continue for a whole year. But it's damn amazing in the moment. The sad part is not since Vladdy and Trout have I not wanted to miss an at bat. Or maybe the happy part.
