I still find the idea of trading a 24 year old generational superstar, who is under team control for a reasonable (for him) amount, for the sake of "rebuilding" the franchise kind of laughable. You rebuild the team around him. Trade Street, Smith, hell even Kole before you even entertain the idea of trading Trout. I don't think this team is as bad as people here think it is, but at the very least you could build a younger "contender" team by 2018.

Of course, I find it strange that Cabbage patch kid butt cheeks DOESN'T make you think of Wally Joyner....

This team has been actually pretty fun to watch since "Rally Cat: Part Deux" showed up. Chacin was solid tonight.

I am a huge stats nerd, and absolutely love it, I especially love having kind of one place where I can get all the info I need. I think what separates you from other sites is that you tend to come from a fan-first mentality, and it really shows. So far I think the new forum/site is awesome.

How I feel every time Shoemaker pitches

It's funny working in IT, and looking at the "new features" post, i'm having this eyes glazed over look because I keep having nightmares of all the vendor presentations I have to deal with at my job. Also as a Network Engineer, the term IPS means something entirely different to me, lol

So my cold skeptical nature refused to listen to this at first because I my first thought was "Chuck is using his website to promote a song featuring his kid in it", but the song won me over, its really well done, and I imagined a really cool Trout highlight package on FSW with this song playing. I'll go quietly eat some crow now...

I've been an Angels fan for about 30 years now. Up until the early 2000's most Angels teams were mediocre, and the ones that were pretty good would fold in the most heartbreaking ways (see 1986, 1997), but I still watched as many games as I could, and loved every inning of it. Even if this team is mediocre I can at least enjoy the fact that on any given day, we have THE best player in baseball. Things aren't as bad as some people on this message board think they are. Calm the F$&k down turbo.
