Inpatient therapy isn't always for people who have relapsed or who are strung out and need to detox. Believe it or not many addicts who have long term sobriety find themselves in inpatient every once in a while to clear their head. Get away from the everyday life and get grounded again in their recovery. It's good for a person like Josh who is in the spotlight to do an inpatient program for at least 90 days which is standard. Just for him to get grounded again in his recovery. From there he should decide if he really wants to come back to baseball or if he'd rather focus on his family.

If the reports are true then I really don't feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his family having to deal with it. He had all the tools he needed to stay sober, and if that itch was so bad he should have stepped up before he took action and told the FO or his family that he was feeling a relapse coming. He could have gone to a treatment center before a relapse ever occurred and when a person has that much sobriety time pieced together they should know better. Wish him the best but he did it to himself.

Pretty douche thing to say about a guys wife who stood by him through his addiction and lowest points in life. I'm sure she looks a lot better than any girl you've ever prematurely ejaculated with.

The thing about him is if you read his numbers you'd believe he was a great reliever. He seems to give up every inherited run he's left with. That doesn't help the team. Not to mention he's terrible in stressful situations. I'd rather see him gone, take Mike's toys away.

Plus Dipoto (had everybody stayed healthy) would have put together one of the best playoff rotations. Weaver and Shoe both looked dominant.

This is not the first time the Angels have looked cold on the playoffs. Gotta blame the guy who's responsibility it is to have this team running on as many cylinders as possible. It was like we were content losing that last series against the M's. It may not be all his fault, but it's enough his fault to shake this team up and go a different direction.
