I can't help but think some of you are rooting for the guy to fail.

I'll admit that I wanted Josh back, I still think he CAN be a difference maker but he needs consistent AB's. The problem with that of course is that with a loss tonight, we don't have that opportunity to waste a spot in the lineup another day in a row. Cowgill should play over him until Sosh can figure out a way to get him a couple looks (maybe late in the game if we're up by enough) who knows. That all being said, he did absolutely no worse than Kendrick tonight. His performance concerns me significantly less than the rest of the team.

Yea that's why I was very skeptical about this "3 headed monster" everybody keeps blabbing about. The only guy who looked lights out tonight was Holland, Finnegan is pretty damn good too but probably not available tomorrow.

Unfortunately he's not going to get a chance to ease into the post season, he needs to show up tomorrow and the next day or we're screwed.

If we win tomorrow by putting up some big runs, then I will have faith that we can win game 3. But that's hoping for a lot right now. Basically a complete turn around overnight.

I was totally thinking the same thing. They allow a lot of rest for a team that snuck. Not that that's an excuse since we've had 4 days off but I think the WC game and DS should be back to back days.

On the radio the crowd was drowning out the broadcasters, driving home I could barely hear what was going on when Freese hit that homerun. On the TV (especially TBS) they seem to do a good job at not picking up the crowd noise (until home runs and stuff like that). Just my 2 cents.

It was one very big game. And it's not so much that we lost, it's how we lost, we've seen it time and time again this season. Offense struggling to get guys in and they end up paying for it.

BTW, tomorrow they need to absolutely blow them out of the water. Convincing win tomorrow.
