I'm not a fan of overcomplicating the burger. Inside the bun you have your meat, cheese, onions, pickles, maybe some lettuce or even jalapeño if you must. Anything else stays on the plate and you dip. Now every bite of your burger is different and it doesn't all end up on your shirt front

It does show this may be less lethal than folks were thinking, but based on the NY numbers we aren't looking at .1, more like .76. Which again, is better than the 2-3%, but still significantly more lethal than the flu.

Also, I'm going to be hosting a hydroxychloroquine failure Zoom party at 8 tonight. I know it's premature and more testing needs to be done, but as I always say, politics before patients.

    More about this...
It's not a great study. It's not random. Patients were given the medication because the doctors thought it was worth a shot (meaning the patients were likely sicker than those that didn't get it). However, when adjusted, it seems that the medication did not help and possibly brought about harm. THIS is why we do need trials on stuff with placebos and have people willing to carry them out. If people are good with hail mary (ies), that's fine, but we do need legit trials as well. They dont have to be super long term studies, but need to know. This isn't going away tomorrow.
    We have to beat this.

If you didn't want to "derail" the thread that spent 2 pages talking about bbq...then maybe you shouldn't have tried to signal your studliness by calling the governor of the 3rd hardest hit state a Nazi because you saw it on Tucker Carlson

Your post had nothing to do with Michigan...yet you seemed to think it was important enough to try and drop her into it.
ps...gardening was not banned in Michigan, the sale of seeds and gardening supplies were prohibited at larger "big box" stores where people were going to get other essential items like food. You could still order supplies over the internet or go to smaller stores.
    https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/apr/15/facebook-posts/covid-order-doesnt-ban-gardening-or-sale-seeds-and/
Tiffany Brown, a spokeswoman for the governor, told PolitiFact that Whitmer’s order does not ban Michiganders from buying any item.
The order says that stores larger than 50,000 square feet must close areas — "by cordoning them off, placing signs in aisles, posting prominent signs, removing goods from shelves, or other appropriate means — that are dedicated to the following classes of goods: Carpet or flooring, furniture, garden centers and plant nurseries, and paint."
Referring to that restriction at a news conference announcing the order, Whitmer said: "If you’re not buying food or medicine or other essential items, you should not be going to the store."
As to gardening, a frequently asked questions document released by the governor’s office states: "The order does not prohibit homeowners from tending to their own yards as they see fit."
Grocery stores, of course, remain open. And neither the order nor the FAQs mention any restriction on the sale of fruit or seeds.

You probably want to try and make sure you read more of the articles you are getting your news from, and not just the headlines

Yes, the military worship in this country is gross.  And it is that.  It’s worship.  Military service is something that the country requires and I respect people who answer the call.  As @st1ckboy said.  They don’t get to pick their operations.  I have no doubt and don’t question at all that mostly good people choose to enter the service.  Some shitty people do as well. Other then the eye thing, I don’t know anything about Crenshaws service and the only reason I know about that is because he never misses a chance to slap you in the face with it.  My issues with Crenshaw are completely unrelated to his military service.  He’s a person that goes well out of his way to target vulnerable minority communities.  He loudly espouses a radical far right ideology that is cruel and hateful.  He does more damage to this country every day that he wakes up (unfortunately) then 99.99% of all Americans could ever dream of.  He’s a piece of shit and I don’t care about his military service.

    So the answer is no
Of the $8,655,748 Harvard is slated to receive, the government has mandated that at least half — $4,327,874 — be reserved for emergency financial aid grants to students.

And it should also be noted...Harvard's grant was smaller that a number of schools

The Department of Education allocated most of the $14 billion in funds based on two factors: the share of recipients of federal Pell Grants, and overall undergraduate and graduate enrollment numbers. It weighted the proportion of Pell Grant recipients as a factor at 75 percent, while enrollment was weighted at 25 percent.
As a result, the top 20 colleges which received the most funding are all public colleges and universities with enrollments in the tens or hundreds of thousands. Arizona State University received the largest relief package of any institution in the nation, netting more than $63 million.
Harvard’s aid package is the third-largest of the Ivy League universities’. Columbia University and Cornell University will receive the largest awards, at $12.8 million each. Yale University will receive nearly $7 million, and Princeton University will net around $2.5 million.
