  1. I don't like what the Dodgers did at all. That being said, I'm thinking a member of Congress should never, ever complain about other people being overpaid.
  2. The question in the OP cannot logically be answered.
  3. Government for sure. I don't blame the immigrants at all. If the government wanted to stop it, they would.
  4. Of course not. But we've all known it wasn't going to be for a couple of months. The choice is to either enjoy the good play or just stay bitter because of it. I'll enjoy the good play.
  5. We get it Claude, you're not happy. Can you let the rest of us enjoy what we can?
  6. That still totally bums me out when I think about it.
  7. some peeps aren't happy unless they're unhappy.
  8. That's fine for you, but I can't watch sports that way. Especially in baseball only a few teams make the playoffs. I am going to enjoy the sport and the game regardless. I am going to especially enjoy it when they play well, regardless of where they are in the standings. To me, wanting them to lose, or being pissed for half of the season really steals the joy of the game.
  9. Where in the video does he say he hates Sosh and Dipoto?
  10. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/trent-richardson-learned-trade-browns-colts-radio-125110397--nfl.html Browns didn't even inform Richardson of the trade before it broke. My favorite NFL team is a total embarrassment. Pathetic trade, pathetic organization.
  11. My top ten Hawkeye-Mash Archie Bunker-All in the Family Jim Ignikowski-Taxi Frasier Crane-Cheers Ted Baxter-MTM Homer Simpson-The Simpsons Lucy Ricardo-I Love Lucy Fred Sanford-Sanford and Son Cartman-South Park Number 10 is going off the beaten path, but I am going with a tie between Will Ferrell's characters on SNL and Tim Conway's characters on The Carol Burnette Show
  12. I don't need any help with this subject, thanks.
  13. Browns are my team.... they are also the worst run NFL team. This is a stupid, stupid move.
  14. Then change the policy, but don't keep giving bennies to people who aren't following the current one. If you want comparisons, it's like charging one person a grand for citizenship and giving the next person it for free because they threatened to steal it.
  15. This isn't about what kind of people are crossing the border. I spent forty years of my life in SoCal so it's not like I'm just some hick from Montana who hasn't seen what immigration is all about. I'm not going to make value judgement on what type of persons they are. I'm sure if I was in that situation I may make the same decision they have. However, that still doesn't make it right. The issue is rule of law, we have it (or are supposed to). To give benefit to people who do not follow the rule of law is counter to what rule of law is supposed to do. There are thousands upon thousands of people who have gone through the proper channels (followed the rule of law) and are waiting to become true citizens of this country. If we just hand over citizenship (or the rights thereof) to the millions who have come here illegally, what are we saying to those folks? as far as the taxes question goes (how much income) I don't know the answer but it's not nearly as much as it would be if they were legal.
  16. Green is a stone at 2B. Our defense was crappy enough this season. It's horrible. As much as I like Petey, I think we have more options to trade with our outfield. I think a combo of Burjous/Trumbo gets us a good starter.
  17. Can't understand how people want to see the infield with Green and Jimenez (or Romine). That is a very crappy infield
  18. Dang, that is the one thing I remember about Chino. It smells awful. Used to drive by that course almost every day for work.
  19. I do not agree with the idea that another starter at the level of Vargas is going to get it done for this team. This team needs a solid number two starter and either re-sign Vargas or get another starter at a number four level. I think that any two of Trumbo/Kendrick/Burjous will get you the number two. My concern is third base where we don't really have offense. Clearly they don't feel Green is going to be the guy over there and that leaves us with Lucho. Sorry, but I'm not too thrilled with the idea of an infield of Lucho/Aybar/Green/Pujols
  20. But your argument is still in a vacuum. I'm fine with open borders if all the other things are stopped. But we are both talking about something that won't ever, ever happen. The spigot will never turn off and the borders will never be closed.
