So fucking dumb
What is?

Everyone keeps saying Marlins are a really bad team. I disagree. I think they are a solid .500 type of team. They're a playoff team who lost their ace and big HR guy.
Getting a healthy Stephenson would be huge.

Ball is jumping off JA's bat

Again, stuff can happen with RISP when you hit the ball in play as opposed to K
-
Maybe Puk should be their closer again

Love the non-strike out there Drury,

Thanks for taking the time to show me the positive side of his at bats
Just to be clear
I'm not getting down on him as a person and it does sound like he is a good teammate
It's his not hitting and getting on base that I'm on him about
I know there is no way to prove it, but it looks like he didn't work so hard in the off season on his batting?
Like all other pros I expect guys on my team to do all they can do to stay in shape and keep up on their batting and fielding
Rendon might have been cheeky because he has said silly things in past interviews, but when asked about his off-season goals he said something along the lines of just not having surgery.

I get it, but if you have an opportunity to bring in your best hitter off the bench to win a ball game late, you have to put Schanuel in there and records be damned.
This is the right answer.
Hopefully we blow them out and Nolan sits out the whole game.

Glad Rendon is out.
I know it's not about personal achievements, but I really don't want Nolan's streak ending because he goes 0-1 as a PH.

I went to the game yesterday, he looks about 10-15+ pounds lighter than in the past. Also, not sure if it's because of the time he missed in ST and his timing is off still but he looked better swinging with each at bat. I came home to check the actual predictive stuff and his exit velocities increased as the night went on -- he's sitting at 88 MPH on the season now. Still want to see it get to his career norms but at least it's not sitting at 83 like it was after the first two games.
Also there is this from yesterday's game
And this...
He's had four at bats where the expected batting average was .470 or higher the last two games. So there are at least signs of life there, hopefully.
Personally since he's not walking a lot he's probably better served at the bottom of the lineup than the top, even if he is seeing a ton of pitches. His swing data is actually arguing that he's taking too many pitches and not swinging enough. His swings at pitches in the zone are down but his contacts rates are in line with his career norms, so leading off may be working against him. Hopefully getting as many at bats as possible will help if it's a timing thing. Also, being able to see directly into the Angels dugout, Rendon was one of the more animated guys in there, he was constantly up and hyping others --ditto Adell. So for those of you that have convinced yourself he's an awful teammate -- it didn't look like it from the way the other players interacted with him.
I really hope Adell breaks through this year.
New segment.
IP has to go to one game a series and do a write up.

Idk if we are good team yet or not but I know for a fact the Marlins SUCK! If we want to be a good team we have to beat up on bad teams, let’s get this sweep tomorrow! We have a rough schedule the rest of the month so get every win we can
I think Marlins are a pretty decent team.

Rendon is in such a funk even the ball boy is making great plays against him.
Those pesky 3 year funks right?

Bad ass inning for T Anderson.

Pitchers literally throwing right down the middle now on Rendon
-
I think TA will have a nice bounce back season
