  1. If the team is going to be shitty, at least Sosh is a funnier (and fatter) punching bag. If the team was good though, no damn way. The fact that the 2012 team didn't win the division speaks for itself. I haven't agreed with all of Ausmus' moves, but overall the team is dog shit regardless. The big question mark to me is Eppler, who has been putting this awful team together for 3 years now, and has put together the worst Angels team possibly in the new millennium.
  2. Was going to say Zack Greinke, but checked his numbers and he's off to a shit start.
  3. I was out and just tuned in for last couple batters after following the score throughout the night. Thank god I didn't watch the whole thing, feel sorry for those of you who did, what a blue balls game. Don't bother with a Facking comeback unless you're going to actually win the game.
  4. I just got home from kayaking in Newport Beach, and I'm almost sure I saw Mike Scioscia, his wife, and some friends go right by me on a duffy. He looked relaxed and to be having a good time, and no, I did not go and bother him!
  5. He ain't off my shitlist until he hits 3 homers in this game. We ain't winning yet.
  6. Great honest interview, I hope Heaney can get his health together. His frankness is the complete opposite of Scioscia's old postgame interviews.
  7. What will I watch to put me to sleep?
  8. Yeah, was pissed, glad to see we will hopefully pull this one out. Still lots of worrying signs though about this team. But if we did rebuild or even soft rebuild, who could we get anything of value out of? That's the only reason I brought up Ohtani.
  9. Trust me I'd hate to see it too, but I want to see a good team, and that would require either adding significant pieces, or trading the few things of value we have besides Trout for a real rebuild.
  10. I don't see how anybody actually had expectations of this team not being hot garbage this year. When it's hard to keep track of who is on the pitching staff and you're filling out the lineup with jabronis like Justin Bour, you've got problems. They either should have gone all in and signed/traded for some guys, or traded the few valuable pieces they have (Simmons/Ohtani/Upton) and do a total rebuild around Trout. Arte's approach of spending, but not going all in and signing cheap guys to fill out the roster, and kind of trying to rebuild the farm, but not completely, is not working at all.
