    In the playoffs, I have zero faith in the man. From bullpen management, to match ups, he is antiquated and stale in my opinion. If making the playoffs once every 5 years with the best player in the game, and a big payroll is acceptable, then I guess the manager has zero bearing on whether this can be improved on.

    You must not have been watching some of his bone headed moves since 2002 in the play offs, but keep smelling 2002 championship farts blowing in the wind. The man should have been put on notice for the 2008 ending in the ALDS, and was given a 10 year deal.

    Fake news buddy. I would have wanted Maybin in AAA to start the season, but was informed that would not have been an option. I am not an expert in roster rules, but learning.

    Please read the entire thread before coming to the conclusion anyone wants to release Maybin. Young had a great Spring, and Maybin couldn't hit a barn with a Volkswagon. Young went down to AAA, and Maybin the 40 man. I was commenting on why.

    Soso left him off the roster after a very good spring training. Maybin did not earn his spot. I realize Maybin turned on the heat the last few weeks, but if EYJ is for real, and was for real on opening day, then we could have been in much better shape offensively so far.

    His caught stealing percentage is alarmingly high. He has Peter Bourjos Syndrome. Stay put, and save those wheels for balls in play.

    2017 is the first year I have listened to Trout speak in public and he has NOT seemed nervous. It is nice.

    Being a halo fan is filled with pain. It is one thing being in last place. It is another seeing that quitter succeeding with the perpetual also rans from the Emerald City. They overcame a 10 run defecit last night to win again last night. We got Pujols though.

    Let that sink in. He had a career year for sure, and most likely cannot be created again. Regardless, that stat is simply stunning.
