  1. First time he sees a 90 mph fastball or a breaking ball on the inside part of the plate, I'm guessing he bails and complains about almost being hit by a pitch. I would just wear brown pants for that situation.
  2. The Astros are always well prepared to play as a result of advanced scouting, excellent organizational pregame preparation, in game analytics to help players make adjustments and players who are willing to make adjustments. It's sometimes as simple as that.
  3. I would prefer reading reports of Adell improving than watching him play at this point. His future will depend on Minasian's ability to find a league average replacement player for next year. With that thought, Adell will probably be the starting left fielder in 2023.
  4. Eligrba agrees with the weirdness of a third person reference.
  5. Chavez last 2 outings for Braves: 5 innings 1 hit 0 BB 3 strikeouts 0 inherited runners scored Just made that up. Have a nice day.
  6. That's what he does. It doesn't matter the taget, he seems to be arroused by calling people out. It's best to chose the ignore option until he learns some basic social skills.
  7. Minasian needs to make better choices. There is a limit on the level of talent you can sign for x number of dollars so Minasian needs to do a better job of signing players who can provide league average play. I don't have any faith he can do it.
  8. I don't understand why having the team for sale would prevent the Angels from making some smart moves at this time. Any potential buyers willing to spend over a couple of billion dollars aren't looking to "flip" the Angels. Potential buyers, I assume, are looking at such an investment with long term goals. Having a solid foundation, in my mind, wouldn't interfere with potential buyers. I can see an attempt by the Angels to secure Ohtani with either a long term deal or a one year deal to avoid arbitration. I can also see the Angels making a few other signings for shorter contracts hoping to secure better performances in some crucial positions. I think it will be a normal off season with the typical projected payroll.
  9. I think people can't understand what Ohtani does or how difficult it really is. The guy is competing at the highest level playing in two completely different roles and doing extremely well in both. How is it possible for Ohtani to not win the Cy Young award? What are the offensive numbers for the other pitchers in the Cy Young conversation?
  10. If this is the case, Why did it take so long to address the injury?
  11. I wish someone would show Thaiss that the playing field is not limited to just the area between 1st and 2nd base when hitting.
  12. Drives me crazy that Dipoto and Servais are doing so well while the Los Angeles Shitshow continues to make excrement.
