  1. Yes. And it's working. Duh. With all due respect.
  2. Adell might be pretty good at some point for some other team than the Angels. He is clearly an amazing athlete and when everything lines up, he looks great. However, Adell has not yet shown any ability to adjust both offensively and defensively. He still plays without fundamentals which begins to suggest he just wants to play unencumbered. I think he "gets" he is an amazing athlete. I'm totally fine with being done with the Adell experiment. The Angels have shown that they are not the organization who can help Adell transfer his amazing athleticism into being a baseball player.
  3. The person on this forum who self reports they could hit .200 is probably also a better short term solution than Marsh/Adell......just for the entertainment value.
  4. I would rather watch one more year of Ohtani than 5-6 years of mismanaged young talent.
  5. Maybe it's not Jeremy Reed but the organizational philosophy determined by Minasian and his braniacs? I would be shocked if Jeremy Reed works independently of what Minasian et.al thinks is best.
  6. Loup might be worth the money next season. Gallo will never be worth the money.
  7. This is the nice aspect of the Angels. They seem to always have a few bad contracts and a barren farm system around year to year.
  8. You are missing the point. Obviously Baltimore wants to completely obliterate their slow and steady rebuild for the opportunity to have Ohtani play for them for one year.
  9. The organization completely failed in determining how the roster should be assembled in 2022 based on their assessment of 2021. As an added bonus of said failure, we all now get to be entertained about the uncertainty of Ohtani's future.
  10. Soooo, will the same group of people be doing the assessing and decision making that did it between the 2021 and 2022 seasons?
  11. I think this is a story being perpetuated by a media who want Ohtani to be playing in meaningful games. I understand their frustrations.
  12. Thank you for telling your story. Sorry to learn about your PTSD. I am glad to hear that Angels Baseball can give you the peace you deserve.
  13. You can copy and paste this for the hitting. Hitters do not seem prepared in understanding what each pitcher's tendencies are, or how each pitcher goes about getting batters out.
  14. The Angels should be buyers regardless of the next few games. It simply changes what players they are shopping for.
