  1. I'm hoping after these two games in Oakland Trout goes to SLC instead of traveling with the team to Minnesota. He does his rehab games in SLC Thursday-Saturday and is back in the Angels lineup for our next home game versus the Rockies next Monday, July 26.
  2. Vasgersian mentioned it but it's interesting to look at Cole Irvin's splits. He is significantly more effective versus RHB's than LHB's. 3. I was looking at the schedule also. I'm hoping after these two games in Oakland Trout goes to SLC instead of traveling with the team Minnesota. He does his rehab games in SLC Thursday-Saturday and is back in the Angels lineup for our next home game versus the Rockies next Monday, July 26.
  4. When Upton and Trout are both back I think the four OF'ers will be Trout, Upton, Marsh and Eaton. I don't see them keeping 5 OF'ers in August. Lagares and Ward have options left so they could end up in SLC. The Bees have games through 10/3 this year. Lagares and Ward could be back with the Angels when the roster goes from 26 to 28 on September 1 or if there is an injury.
  5. Any word on Matt Thaiss? He left the game on Saturday after 2 AB's and did not play yesterday. Call up? Injury? Normal rest day on Sunday after a blow out on Saturday?
  6. Canning and Adell for Berrios? Giving up a lot of controllable years but it would take something like that I think.

And I totally get why Fletcher signed it but what a great signing for the Angels!
  8. I think the we should go this route with Alex Cobb. Now before the season ends. 2 for 30 with a club option in 2024 of 15.
  9. Ohtani and Walsh are 0-10 with 6 K's and we're still winning 9-1. This is a good sign.
  10. He has done a nice job tonight. Still getting use to the voice but Waltz is good.
  11. I agree. 100%. So Ward's career average is: .220/.295/.371/.666 And he has a career OPS+ of 80. So pretty much Zack Greinke at the plate... Tonight through 3 PA's he is: 1.000/1.000/2.670/3.670 He is having a career night and I am rooting for him to continue to get better than he has been.
  12. Actually, he is a below average player by every metric but he is having an amazing game. I'm rooting for him and maybe at 27/28 he can still develop.
  13. Dang! Taylor Ward is having a hell of a game!! He must have put in some work during the all star break.
  14. Well, that will suck but thanks for letting me know. Can you share the reality of Trout and Upton’s near future also. I’m planning on going to a few games in August with my boys. Which games should I choose so I can see all three with Ohtani?
